loftwall SPACE 1123A Designed by Kansas City’s Kem Studio, Tempo aims to make acoustic systems easy to install and configure—and artful to boot. The company bills it “the simplest acoustic baffle system ever created,” and we are inclined to agree. Choose between a wall or ceiling grid, each capable of supporting up to eight PET polyester panels (incorporating 60 percent post-consumer content) that click on via cork plugs. The panels come in two thicknesses—the heartier boasting a 1.05 NRC—six finishes, and four style families, which you can mix or match within the system. What’s that we hear? Applause!
