The new models are surprisingly lighter than previous versions and offer additional stability thanks to G-lock system. All this makes them popular alternatives to series 2 tripods. All new Series 3 Aluminum tripods now feature a third leg spread to go very low to the ground and take full advantage of the Ground Level Set.
