This new m agazine has a com bined circulation of around 3,500, allow ing for some duplication, which is virtually double that of either of its forebears, and now truly reaches a worldwide readership. It is also, as you can see from this issue, far more colourful w ith no extra charge fo r ad ve rtisin g in colour and encouragem ent to accom pany editorial releases with colour photographs. The com pany w hich has been specially form ed to publish The Green Sheet is Micrographics Marketing Ltd, operating from the same address and keeping the sam e te le p h o n e num ber as T h e m e p rin t Ltd, former publisher of The Micrographics Market Place. Paul Ensor - Graphic Designer
Carole Nixon - Accounts
Graphic designer Paul Ensor, w ho is also production m anager of sister company Graphic Press, has designed the layout of the new m agazine and plays a major role in physically putting it all together. Finally comes Carole Nixon who is responsible for the accounts. Her duties will include keeping a w atchful eye on the subscription list and also the unenviable but essential task of credit control. A lth o u g h it is, of course, our ultim ate aim , we are aw are that we w ill not be able to please all of the people all of the time. However, in our bid to come as close as possible to achieving this we do need your help. We are hoping for feedback regarding the appearance and co n te n t o f The Green Sheet, w h e th e r co m p li mentary or critical, because that is the only way for us to be sure that that the m agazine contains that which the readers wish to read.
Tim Nixon - Editor
Mitch Badler - U.S. Editor
Tim Nixon w ho edited The M icrographics M arket Place heads*up the team as e d ito r o f The Green Sheet, whilst Mitch Badler, who edited the MN, will continue to send editorial contributions from the U.S.A.
Any editorial contributions will also be welcome. They can take the form of anything from a full blown article under the writer's own byline, the announcement of a new product or service, the promotion or recruitment of personnel or even a letter to the editor. Incidentally, I make no apolgy for any inconsistency in the spelling throughout the m agazine. The American spellings that I receive from Mitch I w ill leave in deference to our readers in the US but, for my part, I will continue to use my English dictionary.
