Flag Football

When asked if competing at the Olympic Games could possibly rival the thrill of winning a Super Bowl ring, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell didn’t hesitate. “It was actually the players that said they wanted to do it,” Goodell said at last month’s USC Next Level Sports Business Conference. “They all love winning Super Bowl rings... but at the end of the day, as an international sport, what’s better than winning gold?”

The question and answer now carry historic weight. Flag football will be included on the Olympic programme for the first time at LA28, and the NFL is going all in to ensure it becomes a global success.
