Feminist organisations and girls’ education: harnessing the power of women’s rights organisations to support educational outcomes for girls A think piece from the Girls’ Education Challenge on the role of women’s rights organisations (WROs) in creating enabling environments for girls’ education and addressing harmful gender norms. Based on the engagement of WROs within the work of the GEC, we consider the constraints they faced and how they were overcome, their impact on education, and the ‘factors for success’ that can enable them to deliver unparalleled change.
