Slovakia’s architectural policy is an expression of society’s ambition to create an environment that is beautiful, functional and sustainable at the same time. It is based on the belief that the quality of the built environment is the foundation for a healthy, inclusive and dignified life. In line with the New European Bauhaus, the vision of Slovakia’s Architectural Policy is to link the cultural values of architecture with environmental sustainability and
social cohesion. The Architectural Policy also provides an implementation framework for translating the values of the New European Bauhaus into concrete measures in the areas of planning, construction and public space.
