Summary of the President’s Message
The Sunday Bible School on July 14th, 2024 was held live, directly from the Communications Center of Radio and TV Maanaim, Vila Velha, Espírito Santo, with the participation of pastors Gedelti Gueiros, Alexandre Brasil and Josias Junior.
A word from Pastor Alexandre Brasil:
We greet all our brothers and sisters with the peace of the Lord Jesus! We are starting Sunday Bible School. The sub-
ject to be presented is the book of Revelation: the message of the Holy Spirit resonates in the midst of the Faithful Church, in relation to the prophetic markers that are being fulfilled in our day, in the preparation of the Church for the rapture.
Pastor Alexandre Brasil presented several brothers’ answers to the questions posed, as well as various experiences and testimonies relating to Sunday School.
Word from Pastor Gedelti Gueiros:
I greet you all with the peace of the Lord. Let’s answer the
questions.
Reading Revelation, chapters 1 to 3, what is the main purpose of John’s writings in the seven letters of Revelation?
Answer: To present the prophetic meaning of God’s plan for His Church.
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,”. Revelation 1:1 The answer was given via video.
As a prophetic marker, what was the last manifestation of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Church and in what historical period did it take place?
Answer: The outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the period of spiritual revival in the 18th and 19th centuries.
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name”. Revelation 3:8
What is important in the ans-
wer is to understand what a prophetic marker is. The prophetic marker is what has been shown to the church at certain moments in history, in a time called “Kairos”.
Chronos” is time measured in years, months, days and hours. When we go to the “Kairos”, we see the signs. We see in the “Chronos” the historical events that are taking place and the operation of God in what is prophetic. The prophetic markers therefore comprise an association of what has been prophesied throughout the Bible with historical events.
All the prophets prophesied about the final moment of the church. Isaiah speaks about the church, as do other major prophets. But the minor prophets spoke directly to the time we are living in.
What are we living through? What is this time? It is the time of the trumpet blast.
The prophet Zephaniah prophesies exactly how the collapse of the twin towers in the United States happened. It was a prophetic marker. The prophetic markers of the last days are those that interest the church.
“The great day of the Lord is near; It is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the Lord is bitter; there the mighty men shall cry out. That day Is a day of wrath, a
day of trouble and distress, a day of devastation and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of trumpet and alarm against the fortified cities and against the high towers.“ Zephaniah 1:14-16
Today, we see a world without leaders. The world is immersed in chaos. It won’t be the church that solves it. But the project is complete.
A great revival took place in the 18th century. The churches that were built at that time were only ornaments because the Holy Spirit couldn’t work. They were built before the great revival. In that revival there was a great working of God with many conversions. It was the lamp that was being lit for the coming evening hour.
So the prophetic marker is for those who have the Holy Spirit. However, the world is not noticing. The markers need to happen so that the church can ascend into eternity. So, in the fulfillment of the prophetic markers, the day that the church has been waiting for is approaching: the moment when Jesus will come for his church.
We must prepare for this day. Some may say: “But Jesus isn’t coming”. But the point is that you can go before. That’s why you have to prepare.
Question
From this prophetic marker, what was the Holy Spirit’s purpose?
Answer: Preparing the Church for the last days. The Holy Spirit is taking charge and directing His Work.
“Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.”. Revelation 3:11
The answer was given via video. May the Lord bless us.
