Summary of the President’s Message

The Sunday Bible School on August 25, 2024 was held live, directly from the Maanaim in Domingos Martins, Espírito Santo, with the participation of pastors Gedelti Gueiros, Gilson Sousa and Josias Junior.

Word from Pastor Gilson Sousa:

We greet all our brethren with the peace of the Lord Jesus!

We are starting the Sunday Bible School. The subject to be presented is the book of Reve-

lation: the message of the Holy Spirit resonates in the midst of the Faithful Church, in relation to the prophetic markers that are being fulfilled in our day, in the preparation of the Church for the rapture.

The Preparation of the Church for the Rapture - Revelation - Part XIV

Answer: Those who read, and those who hear, and those who keep the words of the prophecy. Because the time is near.

Observation: It is very important for those who read and those who hear, but for the time of soon, it is even more important to keep the words of the prophecy.

The answers sent by video were very clear and objective. I would like to comment on the notification to John.

The text in the book of Revelation reads:

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,” Revelation 1:1

The Lord reveals himself to John and says: “Write it all down”. He notifies John. The intermediation of the book to John was carried out by the Holy Spirit.

The angel is the figure of the Holy Spirit. The original word (Greek) “angel” means “messenger”.

In the first letter, sent to Ephesus, we see:

“To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:” ‭‭Revela-

tion 2:1

John reports the words of the Lord Jesus in the letters written to the churches. But for each church, there are two aspects. The first aspect concerns the function of the angel. In the second aspect there is an emphasis on the operation of the seven Spirits of God. In the first church, the emphasis is on the Spirit of the Lord.

The Preparation of the Church for the Rapture - Revelation - Part XIV

Everything that was written was dictated by the Lord Jesus. The messenger was the Holy Spirit. Where is the Trinity in the book? We see the figure of the Trinity in the first three verses. We therefore find here the essence of God’s operation, where the command, the order, is from Jesus. And the one who transmits Jesus’ command is the angel of the Lord.

“The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.”

Psalms 34:7

Jesus said for each period, identified by each of the letters, that the message had already been determined. When John wrote the letters, it was through the intermediation of the same spirit. However, the one who receives the message now is the one responsible for that prophetic time, be it Ephesus, Smyrna, and so on.

What’s interesting is that John

sends the letter to the angel of the church. And the angel of the church needed to show what had to be done. He was Jesus’ messenger, Jesus’ envoy, the Holy Spirit. [Pastor Gilson]

It’s important to remember that you can’t enter the book of Revelation unless it’s by revelation. The book is for this time. In the first chapter, the time is expressed. It is the prophetic time that designates the moment that the church is living at this time.

The purpose of the book of Revelation is to reveal Jesus to his servants, in the short time. The book reveals Jesus as the “Alpha and the Omega”, “the Lord of all things”, “the morning star”, “the one who was killed and came back to life”, “the faithful witness”, “the Amen”, among others. It’s the only book in the Bible that shows that there is good fortune for those who read, hear and keep

the words of prophecy. So it’s not what’s in the letter, but that it’s the revelation.

May the Lord bless us.
