ITPM was founded by Anton Kreil, teaching Retail Traders once per month for nine months a year only in London in a live classroom setting.
2012
Remote 12-week Trader Mentoring Programs launched. Trading Long / Short Equity Portfolios utilizing Contracts for Difference (CFD’s) only in the UK.
Anton begins hiring Professional Level Trading Mentors to teach Retail Trader students directly.
2013
ITPM Managing Partner Anton Kreil created and launched the original version of the online Professional Trading Masterclass Video Series (PTM 1.0). At the time the Retail Trading Education industry was in total mess.

The Impact of ITPM and the PTM + POTM Video Series
The impact of the ITPM and Anton Kreil on the Retail Trading Industry cannot be overstated.
The Institute completely changed the industry narrative, raised the bar on the quality of Education available to Retail Traders and in doing so changed the entire Retail Trading Industry for the better.

main issues and in uncovering Conflicts of Interest between Charlatan Educators and their Retail Trader students and between Brokers and Educators themselves. The ITPM’s contribution has also impacted European Regulator ESMA and the U.K. FCA in literally changing Retail Trading industry legislation. Everything that ITPM has pushed over the last 14 years, the Regulators have responded to and implemented almost exactly what ITPM has been recommending for years.
The impact ITPM, the PTM and POTM Video Series have had on the Retail Trading industry in the last 14 years has been huge.

ITPM is raising the bar again!
Followers and Alumni of the ITPM will recall that in 2021 ITPM launched an updated remastered version of the Professional Trading Masterclass (PTM) 1.0 Video Series i.e. the PTM 2.0 Video Series, with the Introduction to Professional Level Trading (IPLT) Video Series.
The IPLT, PTM 2.0 and the POTM 1.0 Video Series have served as the pre-requisite Online Programs that enable ITPM students to partake in either 12 week Remote Trader Mentoring Programs or the ITPM Thailand Trader Mentoring Program.
After launching the IPLT and PTM Video Series, the ITPM saw a huge improvement in students returns between 2021 and 2025.

Everything that is done at ITPM is done in the spirit of making Retail Traders consistently profitable, by elevating them to a Professional Trader standard of education.
In 2021 when the ITPM launched the new IPLT and PTM 2.0 Video Series, the ITPM had deciphered all the important information learnt from privately coaching and Mentoring hundreds of traders from 2013 to 2021... and added too and updated the original PTM Video Series, to make it even better than the original version.

StudyHall@ITPM Discord Server Access
All Subscribers to the POTM 2.0 Video Series will be granted 12 months access to the StudyHall@ITPM Discord Server.
Subscribers will receive access to the general channels in the server to enable engagement with other ITPM online program students and be granted specific POTM 2.0 channel access.
Subscribers that want access to IPLT and PTM channels as well as the general channels and POTM 2.0 channel have to subscribe to the IPLT and PTM in order to do so. ITPM students can not access specific online video series Discord channels unless they are subscribed to the specific programs the channels are designed for.
In the StudyHall@ITPM Discord Server, subscribers get support from Christopher Quill and ITPM Mentors whilst they are completing their online program and ongoing support after they have completed their online program.

The resources in the POTM 2.0 Video Series make up a vast library of information. You do not need any prior experience in Data Collection or Excel to learn the material and make progress. ITPM assume zero knowledge and build from scratch taking you on a step-by-stepjourney to build your expertise.
How the Discount Programs Work

Obvious Answers to Obvious Questions
What if I don’t have a PayPal Account?
You don’t need one. When settling your invoice, just select the option to pay by Debit or Credit Card.
If I decide to wait till after October 15th 2025 then apply for the Discounts can I still get them?
No. Discounts are not perpetual. That’s why ITPM have a pre-launch period with a defined end date.
If I purchase the POTM 2.0 program and then want to buy another one after October 15th do I still qualify for the Discounts?
Once you purchase any ITPM program you are considered Alumni. Then you will have to pay full price for your second Program. You only have one shot at this.
I’m a First Timer. What’s ITPM all about?
The Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management was set up in 2011 to inform, educate and Mentor Retail Traders to the same level as Professional Traders. There is a massive difference between ITPM Trading Education and education provided by individuals that have never been and will never be Professional Traders. Misinformed Retail Traders don’t necessarily understand this and sometimes need help in realizing that this is the case. All ITPM instructors are current or past Professional Traders at Investment Banks and Hedge Funds. The gulf in knowledge between someone who has actually been a Professional Trader working for the biggest firms on Wall Street and someone who hasn’t is astoundingly obvious once you start learning directly from someone with Professional Trader pedigree.

Anton Kreil – ITPM Managing Partner
Anton Kreil is the Managing Partner of the Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management, an independent global community of approximately 1,700+ Retail Traders across multiple countries. Anton manages and oversees the Institute Community which at any one time in 2025 between $600mln-$700mln of implied risk, the Institute parent company’s (Jakubstadt Holdings) global portfolio (as Managing Partner) via Corporate trading accounts from Singapore and Cayman Islands and his own long-term investments outside the Institute (Non- Disclosed Total Exposure).
Anton has had a distinguished career as a Professional Trader in the Financial Markets. He opened his first trading account when he was sixteen and traded profitably through the tech boom in the late nineteen nineties. He was the first person out of four hundred students in his Economics undergraduate degree at the University of Manchester to receive a formal job offer from an Investment Bank trading desk. Goldman Sachs saw his track record and hired him on an “unconditional offer”, meaning Goldman Sachs contractually stated that he could get any mark in his degree and they would still hire him as a Professional Trader. He completed the infamous Goldman Sachs Analyst Program (2000) and Associate Program (2002) in New York, which has been responsible for training a disproportionately large amount of the world’s best Investment Bank and Hedge Fund Traders of the last thirty five years.
During his career as a Professional Trader Anton performed a dual function as a Proprietary Trader and a Market Maker running two separate books on Pan European Trading Desks out of London. His Proprietary Trading book grew from $25mln in the year 2000 to over $400mln
by 2004 whilst at Goldman Sachs. He traded multiple Sectors including, Tech, Media, Telecoms, Banks, Insurance, Transports (inc Airlines), Industrials, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech and Chemicals. All sectors that he traded on the Pan European Trading Desk were market share ranked one or two globally, meaning he was always one of the biggest traders in the world. This success was mainly down to the size of the proprietary trading books he ran during his time there and his ability to profit from big situations like major Macroeconomic surprises and Earnings surprises. He became known around the market as one of the “big situation traders” at Goldman Sachs. Lehman Brothers then Headhunted Anton in 2004 and then JP Morgan headhunted him in 2006. At both these firms Anton oversaw the global Pharmaceuticals, Biotech and Chemicals franchises and achieved number one market share and profitability status globally at both firms. Anton retired from the Investment Banking industry in May 2007, just before the peak of the market and the impending collapse caused by the Global Financial Crisis.
In June 2008 Anton was chosen by the BBC to appear in the British TV series Million Dollar Traders which was aired in 2009. The show went global shooting Anton from relative obscurity into the limelight. In response to the thousands of messages Anton received from around the world asking him to teach trading, he decided to set up the Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management in 2011. The Institute has now grown into the world’s leading trading education company boasting a community of highly educated and well capitalized Retail Traders, that can trade from anywhere in the world.
Anton has always been known in the industry for his obsession with Financial Markets, his insane work ethic and for his ability to teach up and coming new talent in the industry.
