The juvenile leaves of junipers resemble needles. Mature leaves are gathered in whorls of two or three, spreading, and fashioned like an awl. In certain species, the branchlets are spherical or fourangled, and the small, scale-like leaves are firmly pressed against them. There are often oil glands on these leaves. Usually, distinct plants bear the male and female reproductive organs. The plump, berry-like cones have a greyish waxy covering and are frequently reddish brown or bluish in hue.
There are many other types of junipers, but in this Document we'll focus on the Wichita Blue variety and some juniper varieties for winter landscapes.

Rocky Mountain Juniper's extremely blue Wichita Blue Juniper type provides an excellent low hedge or border, particularly in more arid environments.
Wichita Blue Juniper can adapt to a broad range of soil types, but it prefers dry, sandy soils with adequate drainage. This juniper hedge tree is native to the Rocky Mountains, where it can be found from Alberta to Texas, as well as other hilly areas from British Columbia to the Southwest.

The first and most crucial step is to select the container. You need a large container since the plant roots require area to spread out and thrive. Effective air ventilation will also be hampered by a huge container. as we previously talked about in a prior article. The container needs drainage holes for ideal performance. This will prevent the roots of your Juniper Wichita Blue from deteriorating. A container for a root ball should be twice as wide and deep as it is deep.
2.PROPERWATERING
Junipers normally require little maintenance. The location of the plants must have good lighting. Because they can tolerate draughts, junipers do not want their soil to be wet. Be careful not to overwater them.
3.THESOILMIX
If you want to cultivate your own but haven't already purchased one that is fully established, you must plant it using a mixture of rich soilless mix. You might also want to fill the bottom third of the container with gravel or stones. You are free to decide. Place it in a hole that is twice as big as the rootball after that. But not before spreading and loosening the roots on the exterior. Place it there after that, then fill it with dirt. Water it twice or three times a week for a few weeks.

2.ROCKYMOUNTAINJUNIPER
The Wichita Blue is another name for this plant, which has unique silver blue foliage. The slowly growing, closely related to the eastern red cedar rocky mountain juniper rarely gets taller than 30 feet. Due to the wide pyramidal design, the base can expand out up to 15 feet.
3.CHINESEJUNIPER
Chinese juniper is a common ornamental tree that thrives in a planter. Despite having the potential to reach heights of 60 feet, the limitations of its planter often require it to remain much smaller, making it a popular choice for patio and bonsai displays. The Chinese juniper has a diversity of leaf shapes and can be trained to respond to a particular growing pattern.
