Marcy Abramsky is a licensed clinical social worker and NYS permanently certified school social worker. Throughout her time in schools in NYC and the Bronx, she managed critical crises such as the 9/11 terrorist attacks, numerous child abuse cases, and over twelve years were also dedicated to research, connecting with doctors and advocating for families on behalf of her father-in-law at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. This process benefited her family and clients. After over 14 years in the field, she obtained a post-master's degree in school district and building administration. She continued in both an administrative and therapeutic capacity for four more years until it became clear that the level of expertise she had acquired could not be provided within a setting where her job was not understood, and the “red tape” began to stand in her way.
As an intern supervisor for Fordham University and a UB Graduate School of Social Work Alumni Mentor for over 11 years, Abramsky appreciates every step of the careerbuilding process. She served as an adjunct and co-creator and facilitator/clinical supervisor of a field placement program during the pandemic for displaced graduate students and isolated older adults. This personally impacted her greatly, as she was the daughter of a parent with Alzheimer’s. In combination with her involvement in coaching her daughters in a town youth basketball league, advocating for seniors and caregivers with assisted living and memory care facilities, and facilitating online parent groups for the grades that each of her children attended keeps her involved just enough in the school community.
The Rise of InspireOn©

Believe in Your Ability to Stay Calm in All Situations
Build skills that allow you to feel confident in your ability to stay centered through any experience. After experiencing the pandemic, the closure of businesses and schools, and community violence, we need to change our view of emergencies. If emergencies aren’t the same as they used to be, then we need to realize there is nothing to get worked up about anymore. We need to put things into perspective. Staying calm in times of stress just takes a reminder that “you've got this.” Breathing, exercising, thinking positively, and giving off positive energy to those around you support this.
Other tips for conquering feelings of overwhelm are:
1. Acknowledge Your Feelings: Recognize and accept your feelings of overwhelm instead of ignoring them.
2. Take a Break: Step away from the situation to gain perspective and clear your mind.
3. Prioritize Tasks: List your tasks and prioritize them. Focus on what is most important, and break larger tasks into smaller, manageable steps.
4. Practice Mindfulness: Engage in mindfulness techniques such as meditation or deep breathing to help calm your mind.
5. Seek Support: Don’t hesitate to reach out to friends, family, or professionals for support and guidance.
6. Set Boundaries: Learn to say no and set limits to avoid taking on too much at once.
7. Focus on What You Can Control: Shift your focus to what you have control over and let go of the rest.
8. Take Care of Yourself: Ensure you get enough rest, eat well, and make time for physical activity.
Believe in yourself ⭐ Believe in your ability to conquer overwhelm and stress!

My Word Of The Year My Word Of The Year My Word Of The Year
Rebecca Greene, LCSW-R

important to me. First, let s start with my husband. Being consistent in how I am being a good wife. How many times do I say I love you? How many times a day do I tell him I appreciate him? How many times do I touch him? How many times do I hug him? Did I kiss him hello and goodbye? These may sound like small things to you. I think they are very big things that add up to a happy marriage. Being consistent with telling and showing Seth how much I love him every day will make our marriage successful. We also have been doing much better with scheduling dates in our calendar to spend time together without our kids. I think it’s important for every marriage to have consistent time without children around to connect and have conversations that aren’t interrupted. Our goal is to have a date at least once a month.

You Are Equal No Matter What
The one true certainty of life is its fragility. We can attain great heights—physically, mentally, and financially. At the same time, there is also great suffering we must endure and significant pain to manage. We will always come into contact with someone who treats us as though they believe their own existence is far more significant than ours. In the end, it is our belief, coping skills, and ability to believe in ourselves that will keep us reaching our goals. What makes us equal is the cycle of human life; we are all the same—human. This is not meant to be morbid. Many cultures hold diverse beliefs related to death, and on an individual level, many people have their own personal beliefs. For most, it symbolizes not seeing the person in the same form here on earth again.
Trigger Points

Sometimes, even a single life situation can trigger a plethora of feelings. From a solid and confident foothold, we can suddenly feel as if an earthquake has cracked the ground beneath us. That sensation of cracking below us is significant, as it represents our shared humanity. From a shaky, low self-esteem perspective, we can retreat into a deep, quiet place. One such trigger is violence. When we hear about a violent incident occurring in the world or near where we live, it disrupts our regular day-to-day life. The “crack” it creates for us in our society seeks to undermine our sense of safety, and those cracks symbolize a threat to our peace, security, and daily activities. Unfortunately, when people are aware of this and make premeditated decisions to inflict harm and fear within our society, it is a form of terrorism. Following through on threats and murdering people for beliefs rooted in hate, jealousy, or narcissism is a hate crime, murder, and more.
ONE
The perceptions of society in general need to shift; otherwise, nobody can be trusted or feel safe in a world filled with so much hate. The new reality is that lives depend on it. Few people will believe or help. Are you ONE??

Fun

Music can create feelings of fun; it can take you away from where you were all day and make you feel as though you are in an entirely different atmosphere. It has the power to uplift your mood, bringing people together in joyous celebration. Whether it's dancing to an upbeat melody or singing along to your favorite tune, music has a unique way of adding excitement to our lives In many social settings, it serves as a universal language that connects individuals, creating lasting memories and shared experiences.
Heal/ Calm Anger
Music can have healing and calming effects on people and animals. For humans, it can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and even alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression Similarly, many pets respond positively to soothing music, which can help calm them during stressful situations like thunderstorms or fireworks Additionally, music therapy is increasingly being used in clinical settings to aid in recovery and improve the overall well-being of patients.,
Music assists people in managing anger. Listening to calming melodies can help individuals process their emotions and find a sense of peace. Additionally, engaging in music, whether through playing an instrument or singing, allows for a healthy outlet to express and release pentup feelings
Focus/ think/ work

Many individuals find that instrumental music or ambient sounds create an ideal background for concentration, allowing them to block out distractions. Additionally, research has shown that listening to certain types of music can enhance cognitive performance and improve memory retention, making it a valuable tool for studying or performing tasks that require mental clarity. in managing anger. Listening to calming melodies can help individuals process their emotions and find a sense of peace. Additi
Form of communication
Music can be a form of communication; singing can express emotions and tell stories that words alone may not convey. Through lyrics and melodies, artists can share their experiences, connect with others, and evoke a powerful emotional response. Furthermore, singing together in groups, such as choirs or at social gatherings, fosters a sense of community and belonging among participants.
Trigger Memories
Music can trigger memories, often transporting individuals back to specific moments in their lives. Certain songs can evoke vivid recollections of past experiences, making them powerful tools for reminiscence and emotional connection.

As we move into it’s adopting hea version of ourse many New Year’
Why is it so diffic

improve? And more importantly, how can we make personal growth a little easier in 2025? The answer lies in understanding the psychology behind change—and adopting strategies that make the process more manageable.
Our Brains Are Wired to Resist Change
The first thing to know is that our brains are actually built to resist change. From an evolutionary standpoint, we’re creatures of habit. Familiar routines offer a sense of safety and predictability, while change can feel threatening. The brain’s reward system is programmed to seek out comfort and avoid pain, which makes stepping out of our comfort zones feel like a risk even when the reward is growth. However, the brain is also capable of amazing things, including rewiring itself. Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to form new neural connections, allowing us to adapt and create new patterns of thinking and behavior. So, while change might feel uncomfortable at first, it’s entirely possible to train your brain to embrace it.
Fear of the Unknown
Another reason change is hard is the fear of the unknown. When we think about making changes, we often focus on what could go wrong. What if I fail? What if I look foolish? What if things don’t work out the way I hoped? These fears can paralyze us, keeping us stuck in situations that are familiar but unfulfilling. But here’s the thing: fear is a natural response to uncertainty. The key is not to eliminate fear, but to learn how to manage it. One way to do this is by reframing failure. Instead of seeing it as something to avoid at all costs, try viewing it as an opportunity to learn and grow.
Self-Sabotage and the Comfort Zone
We all have a comfort zone, a psychological space where things feel familiar and safe. But staying in your comfort zone often means staying stuck. Selfsabotage happens when we avoid taking risks because it’s easier to stick with what we know even if what we know isn’t serving us anymore. To break free from self-sabotage, it’s important to recognize the patterns that keep you stuck. Are you avoiding a big goal because you’re afraid of failing? Are you procrastinating because the idea of change feels overwhelming? Awareness is the first step to breaking these patterns and stepping into a growth mindset.

a goal like, “I want to lose weight,” focus on becoming the kind of person who takes care of their body. This subtle shift can make it easier to adopt new habits, because you’re not just working toward a goal you’re changing who you are in the process. The Perfectionism Trap
Many of us approach change with an all-or-nothing mindset. We set huge goals and then get discouraged when we can’t achieve them perfectly. But change doesn’t have to be perfect to be effective. In fact, small, consistent steps are often the key to lasting growth. Instead of aiming for perfection, focus on progress. Break your goals down into manageable pieces and celebrate each small victory. Remember, it’s not about doing everything perfectly—it’s about moving in the right direction, one step at a time.
Building New Habits
Habits are the foundation of personal growth. Research shows that the more we repeat a behavior, the more automatic it becomes. This is good news because it means that with enough practice, new habits can become second nature. To make habit-building easier, start with small, achievable goals. Use technliques like “habit stacking,” where you pair a new habit with an existing one. For example, if you already brush your teeth every morning, you could add a short meditation practice right afterward. By linking new habits to established routines, you’re more alikely to stick with them.

Finding Accountability and Support
Personal growth doesn’t have to be a solo journey. Having an accountability partner or support network can make a big difference in your ability to stay on track. Whether it’s a friend, a mentor, or a therapist, having someone to share your goals with can provide the encouragement and perspective you need to keep going.
Reflect and Adapt
Finally, remember that growth is not linear. It’s normal to have setbacks and detours along the way. The key is to reflect on your progress regularly and adjust your goals as needed. Reflection helps you learn from your experiences and make necessary changes to keep moving forward.
Conclusion
Change is hard, but it’s also possible. By understanding the psychological barriers that make change difficult, and by adopting strategies that support sustainable growth, you can make 2025 the year you break free from old patterns and embrace the possibility of a new you. Remember, progress is more important than perfection—and every step you take is a step toward personal growth.

New Perspective: A Guide to New Purpose and Possibilities in 2025

When the calendar turns to the new year We often feel a sense of anticipation, excitement, and the possibility of change. It's a new beginning. blank slate and an opportunity to make the months ahead truly meaningful. Although resolutions are a common way to start a new year, But the real power is changing our mindset. Starting the year with a fresh perspective can completely change the way we live our lives, our work, and our personal growth. Here's how you can begin this journey of renewal.
1. Think about the past, but don't cling to it. Before moving forward It's important to look back with gratitude and self-compassion. Review the highlights and challenges of the past year. What lessons have you learned? What achievement are you proud of? What would you like to give up? However, it is important not to fall into past mistakes or disappointments. Use the past as a guide But don't let it determine your future. Every year gives us the opportunity to grow. And the new year gives us an opportunity to let go of unnecessary emotional burdens.
2. Focus on growth not perfection Many of us start the year with big resolutions for perfection. But the truth is that perfection is an illusion. Instead of focusing on growth, small steps in the right direction are more sustainable and effective than striving for a model that will fail you. Consider using It's a "growth mindset," as psychologist Carol Dweck recommends. This mindset revolves around the idea that talent and intelligence can be developed over time through hard work, learning, and patience. It's not about achieving the set goals but about the progress you make.
3. Define your new objective. With a clean slate for the new year It is a good time to review or redefine your objectives. Purpose is the driving force behind everything you do. It is what gives your life meaning and direction. If you're feeling unsure about your purpose, don't worry, you're not alone. It's natural to re-evaluate what's truly important as time goes on. And the new year is the perfect time to get that clear. Want to discover or define a new purpose? Ask yourself: What excites me? Consider what activities, projects, or interests make you happy and fulfilled. Your purpose often lies in what makes you shine from within. What are my values? Identify the values that are most important to you (such as family, creativity, health, service to others). It will align your life with your values and bring deeper meaning. How do I want to impact the world? Think about the legacy you want to create. both small and large How do you want your actions to affect the people around you and around the world? Once you have clarified your objectives Take actionable steps to succeed this year. It may mean seeking a new career. learning skills volunteering Or just be more intentional about how you spend your time?

.4. Set intentions instead of resolutions. We are all familiar with the tradition of New Year's resolutions. But often these aspirations are vague. difficult to follow or abandoned in February Try setting intentions instead of focusing on traditional resolutions. Intentions are more flexible and conscious. These will guide you on the behavior and attitude you want to embody. Instead focus on specific results
5. Cultivate new habits. A new 12 months is a excellent time to introduce new habits that help your overall properly-being and goals. Whether it’s every day meditation, regular exercising, more healthy eating, or mastering a brand new ability, the small movements you are taking each day have the ability to build up into transformative trade over time. To build new conduct, strive these strategies: Start small: Break down big dreams into manageable duties. For example, as opposed to committing to analyzing 30 books this year, try reading 10 pages a day. Be constant: consistency is fundamental to habit-constructing. Even in case you don’t experience find it irresistible, push yourself to do the task as a minimum a few times per week. Over time, it becomes a natural part of your routine. Track your progress: Celebrate milestones alongside the manner. Whether it’s journaling your progress or marking off your conduct on a calendar, tracking offers you a sense of success and motivation.
6. Surround Yourself with Support and Inspiration You don’t have to navigate your adventure by myself. Surrounding yourself with folks that uplift and inspire you is critical for retaining a advantageous angle. Whether it’s family, buddies, or a network of like-minded people, locate people who help your desires and percentage to your enthusiasm. Additionally, divulge your self to new assets of suggestion. Read books, listen to podcasts, or attend occasions that encourage increase and personal development. Inspiration can come from many unique places, so maintain an open mind and allow new ideas to form your journey.

Bringing natural-looking beauty back to the injectable industry since 2019. Feel good on the inside and look your best on the outside!
Dermal fillers consist of hyaluronic acid mixed with lidocaine, which are injected into various areas of the skin to improve volume, hydration, and restore facial symmetry.
Patients with age spots, sun damage, visible vessels, and rosacea can expect notable improvement in just 1-3 IPL treatments, compared to 4-6 sessions with standard methods. Prolonged sun exposure can lead to brown spots on the face, chest, hands, and other areas. Whether you are concerned about brown or red spots, our IPL treatment can help you achieve your desired results.
Sculptra is a non-surgical injectable treatment that gradually enhances lost facial volume, emphasizing and enhancing your natural beauty. Unlike traditional fillers, Sculptra stimulates your skin’s collagen production, resulting in long-lasting, natural appearance. The benefits of Sculptra develop over time, with a series of treatments suggested to reach optimal results. You’ll notice smoother skin and a refreshed look that can last for up to 2 years.
PRP is a natural therapy using your blood's growth factors to rejuvenate and restore your skin, hair, and overall appearance. A small blood sample is drawn, processed to isolate platelet-rich plasma, and then applied or injected into targeted areas. PRP works well with treatments like microneedling for even better outcomes. It is safe, minimally invasive, and has little to no downtime, providing a natural way to achieve striking results while enhancing your natural beauty.https://www.beautyfx716.com/

lollipop Twist Recipe

2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar (optional, for smoother texture) 1/2 teaspoon flavor extract (e.g., vanilla, lemon, or peppermint)
Food coloring (your choice of colors)
Lollipop sticks
Parchment paper or silicone mat
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Arrange the lollipop sticks spaced apart on the prepared surface.
Step 2: Make the Candy Mixture
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, water, and cream of tartar (if using).
Heat over medium-high heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Once dissolved, stop stirring and let the mixture boil until it reaches 300°F (149°C) on a candy thermometer (the “hard crack” stage).
Step 3: Add Flavor and Color
Remove the saucepan from heat.
Stir in the flavor extract and a few drops of food coloring. Use separate batches for multiple colors.
Step 4: Create the Lollipops
Quickly pour the candy mixture onto the prepared surface, forming small circles around the lollipop sticks. For a twist effect: If making multiple colors, drizzle one color over another and use a toothpick to gently swirl them together. Allow the lollipops to cool and harden completely, about 30 min
Step 5: Wrap and Store
Once hardened, carefully remove the lollipops from the parchment or silicone mat.
Wrap in clear plastic or cellophane and secure with a twist tie or ribbon.
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
Fun and Creative: Swirl different colors for a beautiful twist effect.
Customizable: Use your favorite flavors and colors for any occasion.
Perfect for Gifting: A delightful homemade treat that looks professional.
These Lollipop Twists are a playful and delicious treat that will bring a smile to anyone’s face. Perfect for celebrations or as a sweet project to enjoy with family! ✨
