Now,fastforward25yearsofmybeingdeeplyengagedin ourLGBTQ+agenda,andI’mherebeforeyouasthehead ofaglobalbusinessdedicatedsolelytoadvancing LGBTQ+equityandinclusioninsideandoutsideofthe firm.

Whatinspiredyoutotakeonaleadershiprolein LGBTQ+Affairs?

So,havingbeeninvolvedinJPMorganChase’sLGBTQ+ initiativessincethe1990s,whenIdidstepintotheagenda, Inoticedthatitlackedthestructureandorganizationit reallyrequiredtomateriallymovetheneedle.Giventhat creatingstructurewasaprofessionalstrengthforme,I threwmyselfdeeplyintothisworkasavolunteerand helpedleadcomponentsofthenetworktowardgreater impactforover25years.

Firstofall,wedevelopedandimplementedaglobal frameworkandstrategywithclearobjectives,metrics, controls,andaccountabilitiesfortheLGBTQ+agenda.This hasenabledmetoformalizethewaysinwhichmyteam andIaredrivingprogressonLGBTQ+DEImattersacross ourbusinessandintohowwehelpouremployeesgrowand develop,aswellashowweservecustomers,clients,and communities.Atahighlevel,thishasstrengthenedour businessesandourculture,whileinparallelbroadeningthe programmingandbenefitswecanprovidetoourLGBTQ+ employees.
