ShinjiniwasborninGorakhpur,UttarPradesh,India,intoa highlyeducatedfamily.Herfather,Dr.O.P.Singh,served asProfessorandHeadoftheDepartmentof AnaesthesiologyatBRDMedicalCollege,laterbecoming Deanuntilhisretirement.Hermother,Mrs.AshaRajput, dedicatedherselftoraisingtheirfamily.Growinguponthe medicalcollegecampus,Shinjiniwassurroundedby doctors,fosteringachildhoodfilledwithbothacademic excellenceandadeepunderstandingofthemedicalworld.

HerfamilyrootstracebacktoMadhopattivillagein Jaunpur,aplacefamouslyknownas"TheIASFactoryof Bharat"forproducingthehighestnumberofIASandPCS officersinIndia.However,hermother,aformerNCCcadet andaccomplishedathlete,emphasizedbothacademicsand sports,ensuringthatShinjinihadawell-roundedchildhood.
