“Don’t Start Now” is a song recorded by English singer Dua Lipa, released as the lead single from her upcoming second studio album, Future Nostalgia (2020). The song was written by Caroline Ailin, Emily Warren, its producer Ian Kirkpatrick and Lipa, who chose “Don’t Start Now” as the “natural first song choice” from Future Nostalgia to allow her to start a new chapter in her life. It was then released on 1 November 2019 through Warner Records on digital platforms globally and contemporary hit radio in the United Kingdom. The song impacted the same format in the United States on 5 November. “Don’t Start Now” is a disco, nu-disco, and pop song with influences of Eurodance. The lyrics of the song involve Lipa addressing an ex-lover about moving on from a relationship.

Upon its release, “Don’t Start Now” received favourable reviews from music critics, with many complimenting the disco influences and Lipa’s vocals.

The song was a worldwide commercial success, topping the charts in Croatia, Ecuador, Israel and Ireland, her fourth number one in the last country.

“Don’t Start Now” also reached the top ten in thirty-five other countries.

It became her seventh top ten entry on the UK Singles Chart and her first top three entry on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number three.

“Don’t Start Now” was certified gold in Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Spain and the United States. It was also certified platinum in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and double platinum in Australia, Brazil and Canada.

An accompanying music video for “Don’t Start Now” premiered through Lipa’s official YouTube channel on 1 November. It was directed by Nabil and depicts the singer passing through both a basement club and a masked ball. In promotion of the single, Lipa has performed “Don’t Start Now” at four music award shows, seven television shows, and two music festivals.

27th September 2019 the Ghanaian singer Darkovibes releases a song with Runtown which is rapidly adopted by the public and this week it happens to be the most downloaded song in AFRICA. Let’s see what it is all about.

This song, Mike Tyson, is a song for winners, pioneers and trail blazers. It’s for those who stand against popular opinions and make it. The Nigerian artiste (Runtown) who features in the song touches developmental problems in Nigeria and being bold in the face of institutional oppositions. The official video was released on the 29th November 2020.

Le Karma de la Tchiza Is a Cameroonian movie directed by Blaise NTEDJU. Released in 2020 it is a movie relating the consequences of unfaithfulness. It is the story of a man who loses his wife because he had an extra-marital relationship.

Lionheart It is a 2018 Nigerian drama film produced

by Chinny Onwugbenu and directed by Genevieve Nnaji. It stars Pete Edochie, Genevieve Nnaji, and Nkem Owoh.

Lionheart tells the story of Adaeze Obiagu (portrayed by Nnaji), who wants to substitute for her father, Chief Ernest Obiagu (Pete Edochie), when he can no longer run his company due to health issues. Her father, however, asks his brother Godswill (Nkem Owoh) to take his place, and Godswill and Adaeze have to work hard together to save the company from debt and to not lose it to the businessman Igwe Pascal (Kanayo O. Kanayo).

Considered one of the first of its kind in Cameroon, the Pakgne web series created in 2017, has met with undeniable success to date. Made up of two young and attractive actresses: Murielle Blanche and Marcelle Kuetche (Poupi), from Cameroon, they relate daily life, in an atmosphere with a festive, humorous and sometimes dramatic taste. To date, Pakgne has more than 202k Subscribers and 24,918,045 views on YouTube, 133K subscribers via Facebook. The serie is actually on its third season, make sure you catch up.

Today little review on our Cameroonian comedian Edoudoua Non Glacé. He is among the men who revived the Cameroonian comedy industry after legends like Jean Michel KANKAN (RIP) had passed away. In the early 2000’s, the public will discover him (even though it wasn’t his first Tv project realised) in a serie titled “coup de balai” the public loves it and quickly gets attached to it.

This how he started going from success to success and today, he is one of the most popular Cameroonian comedian with many accomplishments.

Good morning SM Good morning Natalie Désirée So how are you today?

Am fine and you?

Am fine. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to discuss with you.

SM tell us who you are like what is your name and how old are you?

Well the pleasure is mine too. I am SM a Cameroonian female rapper, one of the greatest to be. my real name is Sophie Marceaux and sorry I never give my age. I was born in Bamenda and grew up in Douala Wow so your age is going to be a mystery for your fans. Ok so tell us where the zeal of making music came to you.

I knew that I wanted to be an artist since my childhood. I sang all the songs I saw on TV. So much so that my closest family encouraged me to tell my parents to send in a music school, so it was not a surprise for them. I remember when I was 10, when I entered Form One, my father asked me what I wanted to become and I replied “artist” being in high school I wrote songs sometimes that I sang in my moments of isolation. after the release of my very first single “undergame” ft aliena in 2016, it was my first time to have an artist experience, I was just happy to release my first project, but I had not really measured the ‘magnitude of things. with undergame I went around the radio and there was a lot of written press etc I did not expect it. So I did like a year to think about it (after this single, I went out on a freestyle “sodome $ gomore” in 2017). I knew this is what I wanted because I kept writing songs, and I was boiling over with projects.

Amazing, so tell us do you have any idol?

No I don’t So which musician inspires you?

I listen to all the artists I come across, from the best known to the least known. so I guess they all inspire me.

What are you bringing to the music industry in Cameroon? I mean how will you make the difference? what do you have in particular?

To say the truth, I don’t know. I don’t know if I have something more than all the others. What I can say is consistency, many come and go it will not be my case. I will just give what I can, the public will find my particularity.

Ok SM anything new on board? What are you up to?

Right now we are clipping one of the songs found in my EP Which of the songs?

No I won’t say anything just wait and see.

Let us talk a look on what is happening let’s make some “kongossa” The pandemic covid-19 is highly affecting the arts industry in Cameroon since many events are been cancelled and others deported to further unknown dates. This affects event planners and organisers. This is due to the measures taken by the government with the intention of preventing the population of getting infected by the virus. We hope things don’t get out of hand and that we will continue with activities as we used to.
