Dear Fellow Employee:

Congratulations on your employment with West Florida Electric Cooperative Association, Inc. (WFEC). You are now part of our greatest asset, our employees. We depend on each and every employee to do their part to ensure we provide safe, reliable and affordable electric service to our member-owners.

It is my pleasure to provide you with this Employee Handbook. This handbook summarizes our employee benefits and contains the policies and procedures which helped get us where we are today. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the information in this handbook and keep it for future reference. There will be periodic revisions and updates to the content. Updates to the handbook will be provided as these changes occur.

WFEC was organized in 1937 to provide reliable and affordable electricity to the rural areas of Calhoun, Holmes, Jackson and Washington counties. After more than 85 years, the Cooperative continues to fulfill this mission to our 21,000 member-owners with over 30,000 meters. This success is attributable for the most part to the dedication and hard work of the employees, both past and present. Thank you for joining our team and for the role you will play in WFEC's continued progress.
