Daa then you respond mama. A good husband who will get. We got married in the year 1985 at Apatrapa central church Kumasi. Since then, you have been a father, husband and friend to me. You always carried me along where ever you go. One day you came home and informed meyouhavebeencalledintotheministryaspastorofTheApostolicChurch.Iaccepteditand work alongside with you. Throughout your work I was your partner you always called ohemaafremapraybeforeIpreach.Youalwayspullmetodancewithyou.Daa,whowilltreat me like you do. Who will listen to me. Who will help me take care of our Eight Children. Daa I and your children try in any way we can just to keep you alive but as the saying goes (Owuo kura adea nkwa ntumi ngye) I never thought you will leave me this soon. ooo owuo na aden. Apostle Daniel Yaw Ofori Manu my beloved husband, it's still hard for me to accept that you nolongerhere.
Every day I wake up and see the cold empty space where you used to lie and the pain comes crashing down on me all over again. They say time heals all wounds but with your passing, I have come to realize that it is not entirely true. There are some wounds that time won't heal. Time will instead teach us how to live with the pain. daddy, your death is one such wound for me. I will learn over time to live with this pain. I will learn to put on a smile and say ''I am okay'' when I am asked how I am doing, but I know I will never truly be okay again. I will live a ''new normal''astheysay.Anewnormalwiththeever-presentpainofyourabsencefrommylife. My husband was one of the kindest, most giving person I have ever known. He found it hard to say ''no'' to any request. He would easily give away his prized possessions without a second thought.
He taught me to give ''not because you have enough but because you care enough''. My husband was a committed and dedicated man of God who lived all his live ministering the word of God until his illness made it impossible for him to continue. And it disturbed him so much when he could no longer do what he did best. He was a peace maker who never came across a quarrel or misunderstanding he didn't want to settle.
It is sad that what is important is not how long a life is lived but how well. Nana lived well. He tried in his own unassuming and sincere way to spread happiness in whatever form he could. Myhusband, asthelordhasseenitttotakeyoufromthislifeatthismomentintime,Icannot question why. I can only hold on to the hope that you are in a better place, where all your pain has come to an end. May the lord show you mercy and forgiveness. Apostle Daniel Yaw Ofori Manumybelovedhusband, farewellrestinperfectpeace.

As stated in Romans 14:8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

A day I wish never came; a day I wish wasn't in the calendar. It was a black Saturday. It was the day the man we loved and respect most passed on. Oh, death, how could you have come this early. Death came and stole our counsellor, mentor, hero, and a lovely Father.Hemeantsomuchtous.
Papa, your transition to the new abode left a void in us that no one can ever ll. After a brief illness, we sadly say goodbye to an icon who brought joy to us as children and the entire family. We would have loved you to stay longer with us to see you enjoy the fruit ofallyourendeavours, butthedecisionofGodissupreme.
Daddy, you lived a life of generosity, kind heartedness, dignity, and love. You were a seless giver who loved pleasing people more than himself. A bold and fearless man who stood for the defenceless, needy, widows, fatherless, and the oppressed. You always preferred to sacrice comfort for the welfare of others. Death didn't spare you for us. Daddy will call me, “my mother, nana korkor, ohemaa, check my nails, what do you see,” I will smile and say, pedicure coming right away and we will all laugh. These titles were given whenever he needed me to assist him with something, a times I used to complain but now I wish you are alive for me to do more of these favors for you. Your death has left us with heartache. No one can heal, but we will hold onto this. " He healsthebrokenheartedandbindsuptheirwounds."Psalms147:3(NIV)
Daddy, to the world you were just one person, (Apostle Daniel Yaw Ofori Manu) but to us, you are an amazing lovely Dad who single handedly took care of eight (8) adorable children to attain greater heights. Your passion for education reected on the qualitativeeducationthatyouprovidedformeandmysiblings.
Your drive in greeting positive results in everything around you, both in your Christian life and in training of your children. You believed that every child deserved the best, which made you stop at nothing in ensuring that your children lacked nothing. You will foreverliveinourhearts.
Dad, as we bid goodbye, may the light of God brighten your path to eternal rest in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen

The news that we would never wished by all the fraternity in the area would rise to have heard but whatelsecanonesay“Godgives,Godtaketh”.
Under the auspices of the National Council of the Church, the late Apostle Daniel Yaw Ofori Manu Rtd. was transferred from the Bolgatanga Area in October, 2013 to the Adiebeba Area. The late Apostle came to succeed the Apostle Prosper Kwamena Hayford Rtd. He was a blessing and God's gift to the Area and the Church as a whole. The late Apostle Ofori Manu Rtd is noted in the Area as one of the time conscious man who never disappoints when an actual time is scheduled for any activity.
Late Apostle Ofori Manu Rtd, has played the most instrumental changes in the Area during his three years stint as the head in the Area. Many were the achievements that could be credited to him during his leadership tenure. Least said on his achievements the better would it be for all. He was the only Area head that never stayed in the area's rented mission house but was staying in his own house withouttakingadimefromtheAreaandwasworkingfortheAreaandtheChurchatlarge.
Under the late Apostle's watch, two new Districts were created in the area thus, the new Ahinsan District which emanated from the Asokwa District and the new Ahenema Kokoben which also came outfromtheAdiebebaDistrict.AllthesenewDistrictswerecreatedwithinthespaceofthreeyears. More so, previously, the Area was soaked in nancial difculties, there were no money in the coffers of the Area thus, the Area could not fend itself well but with the coming the late Apostle Ofori Manu Rtd,theAreanancesbecamestabilizedandwaseasygoing.

The biggest of all, the late Apostle retired came and continued the golden vision of his predecessors. The area's ability to acquire its own mission house. He came to meet the building project at a roong stage. Thankfully, within his three years' spell, he was able to roof the mission and has even done most oftheinteriorworks.
Hmmm, in fact, the Church has greatly lost a great hard-working man, prayerful man and above all, themotivatorwhomotivateseveryonebothfarandnearwhocameincontactwithhim.
Is our fervent prayer that may the Lord God Almighty keeps you till we all meet on the day of the Lord afterthetrumpethassounded?

Apostle Daniel Yaw Ofori Manu Rtd, with a broken heart and a contrite spirit. We say…………. Da Yie!
Rest well Papa.

Damurifa! Due! Apostle.
