Madolo has been in the industry for sometime now and when we first saw him we thought of him a "Disser" someone not to mess with but sooner we got to know the entertainment side of him and how he can make you dance and laugh at the same time.

Last year Madolo's career took another turn as he created a charecter of "Mfundisi" where he uses humor a entertain us, this took us back to ubaba "Umakit "Mfundisi Untshebe" but with a modern twist. Th charecter has seen him getting recognition from of "Dogg DBN, Big Zulu, Dj Tira and many other known artists

Madolo is currently one of the captains of "Team on "Hood Vs Hood" and this year again he won t awards from the same competion which makes of the most spoke about artists in INK area.

Madolo has grown from just being a township "k rapper" to being household name and the most relevant entertainer today.

It was onthe 28th of January 1992, in small town of Maphumulo, a maskandi "Prince* was born, Scelo Edison Myeza. Sgwebo went to Ekunqobeni Primary School and he completed his high school level at Njomane High School.

He started his music journey in 2010, where he worked with a maskandi legend ""Gadla Nxumalo" as his backing artist and a dancer. Then in 2018 he released his first solo project, it was a full album titled " Izitha" and then two year later (2020) he released an Ep which he called "Njenge Ndidane" all these projects he was called "Iqhathanzipho Islomo ".

Last year , 2023 he then released a 5 track extended play (EP) called "Njengoxamu" and this EP was officially launched early this month (1 June 2024), the event took place at. "Ezigoreni Tavern" Kwa Mashu A section, he invited lot of artist around his circle. The event was a big success and Sgwebo is currently working on his new project to be announced soon.

Mandla Mzwandile Xulu knows as Sparks Wenzinto is a south African house artist and a vocalist. He was born in Hammarsdale KZN,he started singing in 2005 working with the like of "Dj Dust" in his 1st album called "Ngavela eSkhaleni"

In 2006 he worked with Alca Poem, Malo D where he got called by the Ethekwini Municipality to be part of "Durban Beach Festival" from 16 December 2006 un January 2007 sharing the stage wit Zola 7,Mzambiya,Sosha and Bullisti mention a few.

He has also performed in different p at Mpumalanga stadium in Hamma Fountain Stadium in Durban and so sharing the stage with Big Nuz,Pro Character.

Currently he is signed under an ind record called Cieyahtainment owne SA"Dladla Ngamashishi" hitmaker.

Thobekile Magubane affectionately known as Dr Thobeh is a South African author, poet and motivational speaker among other talents she poseses She was born "Nquthu(Esgubudu)". She grew up and completed her primary school level in "Ngcepheni" Born in a polygamy family, she is the first born and the only girl from her two brothers

Dr Thobeh is a God fearing woman who loves church She believes that God gave her a vision and gave her a gift of "verbal spiritual praises (Poetry) She then started live performing her poetry in church , but Woth God's grace she took a leap of faith and started doing public perfomances.

Dr Thobeh later released her first album (10 tracks) with "Radio Khwezi" and in April 2022 she released her second project(album) under a record label called " Luhle Entertainment" working hand in hand with "Lugaju Records"

she released her 1st 10 tracks album with radio khwezi which is heartfelt stations continue to play them even today. Dr Thobeh is is also a qualified teacher she holds various teaching qualifications. And she is also involved in various community projects and looking forward in taking her poetic career to another level.

They say South Africa is blessed with beautiful, hard working women, and Ink Media Magazine is a witness to that, Xoliswa Zenani Mpanza is a young business woman born in Mandeni, KwaZuluNatal

Xoliswa started school in "Lokothwayo Primary School" and completed her matric at "Isinyabusi Technical High School". She then did her higher level of education at "SA Maritime and Transport School College" where she did "International Trade and Customs & Freights Forwarding" and then she went to "Richfield College " where she completed her "Computer End User" course

You can tell that this young business woman is a go getter and she works tirelessly to achieve her goals. In August 2022 she started a cleaning business called "Amathabethule Cleaning Services" which they offer various cleaning services to all sort of establishments and private homes Early this year she started E and E Fast Foods which is a food and beverage business, she plans to open her restaurant soon

Like any other business they are challenges that she faces especially inthe cleaning business it difficult to get customers or government tenders, in South Africa business funding is almost non existent even getting resources is very difficult inthis economic climate

Xoliswa want to create job opportunities and she is certain to becoming a leader in business or industrial expect She is currently working on getting premises for her restaurant and aims on increasing her socials media presence

This time he shared the title with Herod The Herbsman from "Team Newcastle" who was competing with Emdeeyou and this sees another historical moment inthe competion where a "loosing" contestant becomes a man of the match. They have been a mix reactions to this , as we see inthe "Lock Down Cypher" Facebook page, we have fans and fellow rappers who says Herod should have won the match and some saying Emdeeyou is being given preferences for some reason but what the "Lockdown Cypher" movement has done is amazing , they have given an opportunity to see rap growing in the province and we have seen young people grow and making rap music a career. Thabani Nzoyi well know as Malimaza, he hails from South Coast " Emthwalume" He is a poet by proffesion.

Malimaza started doing poetry in 2018, since then he has won 2 awards at "Umzumbe Talent Search" and "Nkanyezi Yokusa" He has done a radio tour across different radio stations, for instance "Ugu Youth Radio Station", Radio Sunny South He was also featured on "Eyethu Newspaper"

Mondli Nyawose is a 36 year old gospel sensation, he was born in Umkhomazi, Mondli completed his primary schooling at "Amandlakapheli Primary School and Nombayingana Primary School"respectively, then completed his secondary level at "Masakhaneni High School.

Mondli started his music career in 2006 back when he was still in school, he also worked with a group called " Real Voices" untill 2013, and that when he started his solo projects.

He was blessed to have his first gig at "Moses Mabhida Stadium" during the legendary "Pastor Andile Ka Majola" music video shoot, he shared a stage with the likes of Andile Mbili, Sgwili, Babo, Nathi, Nkanyiso, Thobekile, Abanqobi to mention a few.

Ink MediaSA was invited by one of Durban's aspiring musicians who was celebrating his birthday at the Durban Exclusive Food, he is well known as Peacelite but his parents call him Philani Sihle Shelembe, He was turning 20 something old as he put it, he said "men don't give out their age to other men". Peacelite is not only a musician he is also a clothing brand owner , a music producer, and a business man.

The event took center stage in town CBD where we had various emerging artists that came to celebrate this prestigious event, they was the hit maker from Kwa Mashu Gologo Injayestradi who set the stage in fire as usual. Our master of ceremonies for the day was the influential, talented Dralic The MC who kept us entertained the whole day. Zama Zee also took to the stage and she gave us something different, something unique and reminded us of the legendary "Fusion ".

Other musicians that were spotted onthe day were, "Intomb'zami" hit maker Nelllow Wood , Saiju Mfanomcane, Sky Peace, Mandulo to mention a few On your ones and twos, they was the legend inthe making Skyeman Beats who is the house hold name inthe underground hip hop world, he has made beats for almost every rapper that is trending underground.

Luvo Khenke, also know as LavoDeeman is a 28 year old actor from the province of Eastern Cape. He completed his schooling career in "Qolorha Feni Jrn Secondary School, Nomusa Mpongwana & Izolo High School.

Luvo started acting in 2009 while he was still in primary school. "Acting is one of my passions, I grew up watching shows like "Yizo Yizo" says Luvo. In 2021 he got a role on a local movie prodoced by "Skwatshu Media". He also scored a role in "The Woman King" film and "Blood & Water" season 3. Ink Art Foundation NPC is hosting it 3rd annual Ink Soccer Tournamentonceagainthisyear. InkSoccerTournament2024 willtakeplaceinLindelaniNtuzuma,PholaniSportsGroundsthis year. The aim is to involve young people around the area in sportsandmakesurethattheyouthstayawayfromdrugsand alcohol this the tournament will take place onthe 17th of June 2024adayafter"YouthDayCelebrations".

The tournament this year will be powered by "aQuellé" who cameonboardandassistedwithrefreshmentsfortheplayers.

"This year we will have under 11 and under 15s partaking in a knock out tournament" explains one if the orginisers. They is a joining fee of R 200.00(Under 15) and R 50.00(Under 11)and everyoneisinvitedtojoininandcelebrateourcurrentyouth.
