About the 99th AFBF Annual Convention & IDEAg Trade Show The American Farm Bureau Federation is the largest general farming organization in the country. Every January, over 5,000 attendees engage in the creation of American agriculture’s future. Through educational workshops, powerful keynote speakers, the popular Rural Entrepreneurship Challenge and competitive awards programing, the AFBF Annual Convention & IDEAg Trade Show is the place to be for agricultural leaders, businesses and entrepreneurs. RURAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP CHALLENGE

The Challenge is the first national business competition focused exclusively on rural entrepreneurs working on food and agriculture businesses. Entrepreneurs compete for startup funds on the Cultivation Center stage and share their businesses with potential customers on the IDEAg Trade Show floor.
