Greetings from

Founder & Director LSPR JAKARTA now is truly International LSPR Jakarta, since its inception had an objective to impart both theoretical and practical knowledge which is not just of domestic or ASEAN relevance but of International relevance.

As a result of this objective, LSPR Jakarta has been committed to Internationalization by means of conducting International Exams for its students (both theory & practical), sourcing International Human Workforce (Staff & Lecturers), establishing International recognitions through partnership and collaborations including research, with a view to create global opportunities for its stakeholders (lecturers and students). This commitment of internationalization undoubtedly assists LSPR Jakarta to produce future leaders of Indonesia in the field of Communication who are prepared to interact and compete in ASEAN and Internationally.

LSPR Jakarta offers various International programs to its students in several countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, China, Australia, India, United Kingdom, Philippines, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Russia, France, Spain and also in USA in areas of Study Tour and Cultural experience programs in fields of Film Making, Cross Cultural Communication, Joint Projects, International Work Experience, Student Exchange, Study Abroad and International Conferences. These International programmes provide the students: - A learning lesson to be independent and experience the diverse culture of various countries - An opportunity to challenge their creativity through hands-on activities in an International environment; thus enhancing their interpersonal skills and communication in English, which is the medium of instruction used during such programs.

- A prospect to gain International perspectives and exposure on the best practices and also home stay experience with host families or other International students.

- A chance to attend an International class with local University students and participate in Communication workshop, City Research, Presentation, Sight-seeing, field trips to media stations So, LSPR Jakarta now is Truly International and we will continue to spread our wings in the International arena by way of academic collaborations and partnership in the interest and benefit to our students who are very dear to us.

About the

Programmes

Programmes Overview: a. International Study Tour & Cultural Experience (ISTCE) ISTCE is an international programme offered by LSPR for the students and alumni to get experience overseas by attending workshop/class in partner universities of LSPR in various countries. By joining this programme, students and alumni will obtain academic benefits as well as cultural experience internationally. b. International Work Experience (IWE) IWE is an international programme offered by LSPR for the students and alumni to get experience overseas by interning in multi-national companies in Malaysia/Singapore. By joining this programme, students and alumni will obtain academic benefits as well as cultural experience and networking.

Benefits + Credits Obtained By joining ISTCE and IWE, students will obtain: - 6-9 SKS/Credits*.

- Ability to skip internship in the 7th semester (mandatory).

- External NAP: 10 points.

- International certificate(s) from partner universities/organizations.

- Visit to multi-national companies.

- Programme includes return air ticket, accommodation, transportation, airport transfers, travel insurance, visa fees, sightseeing and tours.

- Opportunity to establish and expand an international network for future careers.

- Cultural and recreational experiences in country of destination. * Subject to programme

Preparation a. Pre-Departure International Office will organize an Orientation Day prior to the departure of the said programme. The Orientation Day includes: - Cultural insights and sharing session with brief survival language course - International lunch/dinner experience - Visit to a multi-national company based in Jakarta and having operations in the country of respective destination.

In addition to it the students will be given goodie bag which consists of LSPR T-Shirt, pouch for toiletries, notebook, pen, travel guidance book and luggage tag. Students will also get a free cabin luggage from LSPR. b. Post-Arrival Upon return to Jakarta, students should provide a copy of the international certificate to International Office and fill in the Questionnaire. In order to obtain the SKS/credits, besides observing the students involvement during the programme, students also need to prepare reports (Internship in Communication, Intercultural Communication and any other report subject to the programme). The format and details of the reports will be explained to the students during the Orientation Day. 2
