Inglewood Schools Making Progress Under New State Administrator By Amanda Anderson

ewly appointed state administrator, Dr. Vincent Matthews, received an overwhelming show of approval at a recent public oversight hearing amid complaints over state control. Inglewood Could Be Super Bowl Bound

R

ams’ stadium in Inglewood is expected to open in 2019, making it eligible for a future Super Bowl. However, in an unprecedented move, the NFL’s Super Bowl Advisory Committee has decided to make a departure from its own rules that a new stadium must be in operation for 2 full seasons to be considered. This means Inglewood could see a Super Bowl in 2020 or 2021. Houston and Minneapolis will host the next two Super Bowls. Atlanta, South Florida and Tampa are also finalists to host one.
