4. Intramucosal implant ďƒ˜ This implant is directly inserted into your oral mucosa. ďƒ˜ The mucosa is utilized as the place for attachment and inserts of the metal, typically made of titanium.

Cylindrical implant ďƒ˜ These implants come in various shapes; cylindrical is one among those shapes. ďƒ˜ The surface condition and coating are what determines whether to use this implant or not as they offer microscopic retention and bonding with the bone. ďƒ˜ This implant can be straight, tapered or conical and is pushed or tapped into the site of the bone which has been primed.
