Rock in Rio Lisboa 2022–One of the Most Awaited Music Fests!

Rock in Rio Lisboa 2022 is one of the world's largest entertainment events, attracting music fans of all kinds. Founded in 1985 in Brazil with a 1.5 millionstrong crowd, founder Roberto Medina sought to make it a global event and spread the joy to other countries.

The 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa will be held on June 18–19 and 25–26, 2022, according to the organizing committee. Each day of the festival, which spans two weekends, comprises 12 hours of entertainment and performance on several stages.

History of Rock in Rio Lisboa 2022 In 2004, the first Rock in Rio event was held at Bela Vista Parque in Lisbon, Portugal.

It was officially known as Rock in Rio Lisboa, and it included all of the hallmarks of the original festival, such as the construction of a humongous City of Rock performance venue with numerous stages, a Rock Street strip with street artists, shops, bars, and a carefully orchestrated fireworks display to end each night.

Paul McCartney, Britney Spears, Metallica, Sting and other popular artists headlined the debut lineup at Rock in Rio Lisboa. Between 2006 and 2018, the event returned to Lisbon seven more times in alternating years, with even more notable musicians.
