Maison Saint Aix and Amcor Capsules: A Partnership Sealed with Provençal Excellence
Amcor Capsules has been working with Maison Saint Aix, a highly respected Provence-based rosé producer since 2015. We teamed up with this winery following several months of development to offer high-quality tin closures for their 6L large-format bottles.

Maison Saint Aix: An Iconic Rosé from Provence
Nestled in the hillsides of the Coteaux d’Aix-enProvence appellation, Maison Saint Aix is now a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts coming to the area.
Breaking away from the region’s traditional wine categorization system, AIX Rosé made the bold move to create a single cuvée. The idea behind this unique product is to craft a wine that represents the region’s absolute best, whose perfect balance of complexity and approachability is a big draw for consumers. The result? A generous rosé with a delicate pink color and a citrusy aroma that is ideal for sharing with friends or family.
This spirit of sharing is an integral part of AIX Rosé and it manifests itself in various ways. Although the winery only produces one product, it is available in a large range of bottle sizes, from the classic 75cl to the massive 15L format, making it a great choice for many different occasions.

Creating elegant packaging for large 6L bottles to pour at weddings or grand ceremonies can be a real challenge. To ensure its wine was presented in a luxurious and premium manner, Maison Saint Aix decided to approach Amcor.

Amcor and Maison Saint Aix: A Successful and Long-Lasting Collaboration
“Amcor was our first choice for its quality and innovation,” says Victor Verhoef, Marketing Director at Maison Saint Aix.
The partnership between Amcor and Maison Saint Aix actually dates to 2015, when Amcor began suplying the winery with high-end STELVIN® LUX screw caps for their 75cl bottles. The brand was determined to elevate its wines with a touch of sophistication, seeking “a screw cap that would not look like a screw cap. We worked together and found the perfect fit: the Stelvin® Lux+ capsule, which has technical features like embossing on the head and a ‘soft touch’ finish that enhances the overall bottle-opening experience.”



It was only natural for Amcor to embrace the new challenge of capping the 6L bottles from Maison Saint Aix. While several solutions are available in the spirits industry, they are less prevalent in the wine sector. As a result, Amcor’s FTS (Field Technical Services) and sales teams worked tirelessly alongside the renowned Provençal winemaker to develop the innovations this new tin closure required. Their efforts certainly paid off.
“Amcor never stopped listening to us and provided unwavering support throughout the entire process. After a nine-month search, we believe we have found perfection—an ideal closure that perfectly fits the necks of these bottles. It also has a luxurious finish and a flawless print result that matches the design of our entire range. This 600cl bottle is now the perfect partner for our other formats and has found its rightful place,” concludes Victor Verhoef.
