While it’s true that Windham has many visitors and part-time residents, Windham is not one of those towns that becomes a ghost town on the weekend and is without a strong sense of community. It’s the type of place where everyone is welcome. Regular local events, many sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and local businesses keep Main Street lively. Want to lend a hand? There are plenty of ways to get involved in local charities, politics, arts groups and clubs.

Windham Mountain has gained a reputation as the most of refined of the Catskill ski resorts. 97% of the 285 skiiable acres are covered by Windham’s stateof-the-art snowmaking equipment, making for great conditions on the 54 trails and 6 terrain parks. There’s plenty of room in the lodge, even on days when there’s a crowd and a band playing. The latest addition to the mountain is a Ski & Ride simulator, a virtual reality ride tailored to the level of the user. Users can take on the bunny slope or a World Cup course.

THE CLUB ROOM The lounge/club room is the perfect place to put your feet up. This room was designed to host multiple parties at once. Seating areas are centered around gas fireplaces, big-screen TV’s, the kitchen, game tables, and in book-reading nooks; whatever is on the agenda, there’s a spot for it in the club room. On the weekends, breakfast is served to residents so they can get out and get going.
