TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE

the innovation cycle We believe that scientific and technological progress is based on a purposeful and synergistic exploration of discoveries; therefore, we develop activities that begin with the generation of knowledge and conclude by giving back value to society.

our promise We are committed to internationally recognised, socially relevant research that has a high impact on industry, services and exports. We aim to bridge the gap between universities/polytechnic institutes and the world of business, public administration and society.

the backbone: our collaborators Our collaborators constitute the foundations of our strategy. INESC TEC brings together more than 800 collaborators (600 fully dedicated), of which 300 have a PhD degree (250 fully dedicated), including University/Polytechnic Professors and research grant holders. This critical mass of expertise means that we are able to guarantee an exemplary scientific performance with increased social relevance.
