Types of braces

1.Metal Braces

Metal braces are the most traditional type of braces, and they’re made from high-grade stainless steel. They consist of metal brackets that are attached to each tooth and secured in place with an arch wire. Metal braces provide excellent results, but they also tend to be more noticeable than other types of braces because of the metal colour. They’re often the least expensive option for patients and can help correct a wide range of dental issues.

2. Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces are similar to metal, except for the fact that their brackets are made from a clear material, making them less noticeable than others on the market today. They can also blend in with your natural teeth better because of their transparency, however they do require more care than regular metal braces because they can chip or crack easier due to their fragile nature. Although they offer good aesthetic value, they may not be as strong as metal or lingual braces so it’s important to be aware of this when considering them as a choice for you or your child’s teeth straightening needs.

3. Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are quite similar to traditional metal ones in terms of function and results – with one major difference; instead of being placed on the outside surfaces on your teeth like usual, these types of braces fit behind them instead and remain hidden from view if necessary while still allowing you to achieve excellent results in time where weight on teeth becomes much lesser than before using such technique These admittedly take longer to adjust than traditional ones due to their location but many people find them preferable since it offers superior cosmetic appearance compared to regular varieties once treatment is complete thereby eliminating need hiding behind smiles upon completion period which makes it go moot after few months only unless reattachments arises which then requires another set of waiting period before again showing great oral appearance which one might otherwise risk while using alternative product other than lingual variety those wishes very little visibility along with greatest possible effects all at same time Additionally lingual ones cost slightly extra compare metallic styles yet benefits far outweighs such increase depending on individual preferences
