About Us What started as a passion for bees, honey and beekeeping has turned into a full time business. It all started in the year 2009 when we got in contact with a bunch of bee keepers on a road trip. The fascination for Honey bees after meeting these bee keepers made us bring four bee colony boxes to our farm. During our study and experiments with these live bee boxes, we extracted some small quantity of delicious honey which was very much appreciated by our friends and family.

We decided to expand, with the sole motive of making this deliciously pure honey a part of healthy lifestyle of many others. These four bee hive boxes, over these years have multiplied many folds. It has been a tremendous journey though, starting as a novice and now having a team of experts in the field on board.

THE HONEY SHOP is now engaged in collection of Apiary Honey and Forest Honey from variety of floral sources across India. It has not limited itself self to just honey, but its experienced team of trained professionals is continuously striving to develop new products using honey. These products are now manufactured using state of art technology and clinically clean facility.

We at THE HONEY SHOP take pride is saying that

a) No bees are harmed in our honey collection process. b) We have evolved a commercially sustainable model for tribal honey foragers by giving them proper training to collect honey in hygienic manner, without harming the bees, and by giving them reasonable remuneration for their hard work and honesty. c) We have developed a cluster of bee keeps engaged in scientific bee keeping and harvesting honey without any traces of antibiotics.

Exotic Honey Collection

Did you know honey is made by bees in many natural flavours? When bee hive boxes are placed in blossom of particular flower, they collect honey from the nearest flower.

Honeys collected by bees from different flowers have different colour, aroma, taste and benefits. The property of that plant is transferred to Honey.

Eucalyptus Honey Eucalyptus honey like its plant has high medicinal value. It is considered to be very effective against normal cough, cold and throat infection.

Nectar collected by the Honey bees from this tree has a compound called Eucalyptol which forms part of this Honey. Regular consumption of this Honey can do wonders with your health.

Although this may be a boon for your body but it has a very strong flavor which some people may not like.

Acacia Honey This variety of Honey is collected by the bees from beautiful white flowers of Acacia, in India usually found in the serene region of Kashmir Valley. It has mild sweet floral flavor and is considered to be one of the best tasting honey in the world.

Due to its high demand and price in the international market most of this honey collected in India is exported. Apart from innumerable benefits of honey it is also considered to be good for respiratory system.

Forest Honey Our expert and trained tribal honey foragers travel deep within forest to get you honey from the most untouched and serine environment.

Sider Honey Sider honey is considered to be liquid good as gold for its vivid and enormous health benefits. In India Sidr trees are found in serene and pollution free region of Rajisthan.

Sider honey is collected by placing Honey Bee colonies in these region when the sidr flower blossoms.

This honey can be collected for only 25 to 30 days in a year and hence is available in small quantities. Wild Berry Honey is considered to be natural and one of the best health tonic from ancient times.

This honey is collected by placing bee colonies in Ajwain fields for that brief period of time when it blossoms. This honey is dark in colour and has strong taste and fragrance. It is one of the rarest and one of the best honey harvested in India.
