To have complete freedom of expression and a sense of belonging to something greater than ourselves is what drives the work. As I get older, more experienced in the work, labels fade away & seem unimportant, to say I’m a street artist, would be limiting my creativity. I love variety, trying new techniques and pushing the limits. I believe everything happeneds for a reason, my reason is art, I live and breath art everyday. After completing studies in graphic design and illustration in 2004 INDO took his inspiration to the streets. With stencils and spray cans in hand, he launched an early reputation with his explosive colours and self-styled in-the-moment brand of street art. It wasn’t long before INDO was picked up by a talent scout and a commercial collaboration with some major corporations followed. Some of the companies to experience INDO’s art are ING Direct Bank, The Maritime Union of Australia, General Pants, Fuel TV, Rekorderlig, The Rolling Stones magazine, ANZ Bank and Sony BMG. NDO’s competed in Street Art Competitions, wining heats & finishing runner up, INDO’s appeared in magazines, Newspapers, interviewed on Radio & illustrated for stationary packaging, Textile design for General Pants, Big W & Best and Less. Currently INDO’s work is represented by Robyn Berkeley Editions, he’s an artist for Free the Reef & Deck Bar Sydney.
