◇ Overview There are two main types of wind applications – wind and unwind. Effective winding is carried out through monitoring and controlling the position of a dancer roll, and adaptive motor control. As fluctuations in the dancer position occur, the speed and torque of the motor are adjusted so that the web is wound/unwound cleanly without breakages.
