Through Making Indonesia 4.0, the government is optimistic that in 2030 Indonesia will become the top 10 of the world economy, achieve export contribution of 10% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), double the productivity to cost ratio, increase budget for research and development by 2%, and lead the Asia Pacific overall. The government believes that Industrial Revolution 4.0 is an incredible opportunity for Indonesia, given that Indonesia has the 4th largest workforce population in the world and is projected to experience a demographic bonus peak in 2030.
