Welcome to Indiana State University! We look forward to showing you around the Forest.

Living-Learning Communities (LLCs) are central to the campus experience for first-year students at Indiana State. LLCs give you the chance to live and learn with peers who have similar goals, activities, and academic interests.

There are LLCs based around specific programs, including health professions, aviation, business, and gender studies, and those focused on broader areas of interest, such as leadership, social justice, and sustainability. The Honors College also has a LivingLearning Community. Most LLCs include a common academic course as well as workshops, speakers, and events that are only open to the community’s members.

Sycamore Towers primarily houses first-year students. They were recently remodeled and feature a mezzanine with laundry facilities, a kitchen area, and a social lounge with televisions and a pool table. Each student floor includes study and social lounges.

When you’re hungry, you won’t need to leave campus for a meal. Sycamore Dining is easily accessible for all students. A Residential Meal Plan is required for students living in the residence halls, and there are a wide variety of meal plan options available.

Indiana State will be your college home away from home. Here you will find a modern, comfortable living space to call your own, right in the heart of campus.

Visiting us? Schedule a residence hall tour with Admissions. Questions? Contact our Residential Life Office at 812-237-3993 or email ResLife@indstate.edu.
