EXPO MEET McNAIRY is a dream team's success By Janet Rail Publisher

Moondog Makers & Bakers of Corinth, Mississippi set up an oven to serve fire baked pizzas, one of the many attractions during the expo See more on page 9.

EXPO at the Hangar and Job Fair “Meet McNairy” was a spectacular achievement Saturday at the Robert Sibley Airport – Aviation & Transportation Museum. It was estimated that over 1,000 attended, however the numbers do not tell the full story. An Expo is a people's success and the small team of dreamers wanting to expose everything good about McNairy County to others was not only commend-

able but proves how a powerful few can make a difference. The success is the direct result of one person, Wes Landreth, of Jones Exhaust, having a great idea and sharing it with Robin Lees founder of Downtown Events Alliance of Adamsville. Never tell Robin about a great idea if you think she is not going to make it happen. Robin quickly assembled a committee of four adding Sybil Dancer, Selmer Parks & Recreation and Sherry Holsing, Packaging Corporation of Ameri-

can and of course, Chris Tull, manager of Robert Sibley Airport. After ten months of planning, the Expo delivered to the hearts and minds of many around the county and beyond who had never even seen or visited our local airport. A special treat was Byron Conaway, showcasing his private collection of antique war planes, vehicles and archives in Hangar One. Moving beyond any barriers of Covid, the Expo is a testament See EXPO, 9
