When I was invited to visit the Seychelles, to produce a collection of 30 oil paintings, I felt deeply honoured and privileged. These images were to be used to promote the islands as a tourist destination, launching first as a major London exhibition. Each visit to the islands produced new images, new inspirations and a feeling of being very close to nature, the flora and fauna of the Seychelles existing in a totally natural and unspoilt part of the globe. The clear, translucent waters of the Indian Ocean imbue a feeling of awe at the variety of colours, and the white, sandy beaches are vast, seemingly extending far beyond the naked eye. Truly, this is paradise.
