deCOASTruction

Over the last decades, urbanization in Spain has developed vastly all over the coast shore line. Tourism, once the hope and the gate towards progress for Spain has produced a side effect that our coasts are suffering: constructions a few meters distance from the sea, stopped constructions, hotel resorts in national parks. Basically a decoastruction of the original landscape of our coasts and cities has been produced.

T H E M E

deCOASTruction SUN, SEA, SAND! Over the 60’s the triple S formula and imager y was developed in order to sell inside and outside Spain the vision of a developed country. Tu r i s m = p r o g r e s s . T h e urbanization of coasts had just started.

deCOASTruction T H E M E

Constructions, constructions, constructions. The economic growth of the last decades has crowded Spanish coasts with hotels, resorts, holiday houses, etc.
