From hosting our global launch events in April at the distillery, to bringing RyeLaw to whisky festivals and cities all over the world, 2023 has undoubtedly been the most exciting year for InchDairnie Distillery.

We are delighted to present to you our highlights from the year, including international press features, whisky influencer coverage, industry award wins and our luxury partnership with LeBlanq.

AMATHUS In the run up to Christmas, RyeLaw had a window feature in the Amathus drinks shop in Bath.

LAUNCH EVENTS

GERMANY 17-18 July

Germany MD Ian and Sales Director Torbjorn spent two fantastic days in Hamburg and Berlin, officially launching RyeLaw with our distribution partners Kammer-Kirsch.

The events were attended by a mix of trade, press and whisky influencers. Approx 30 people attended each event, lasting approx 3 hours.

Both venues are leading whisky bars with either luxurious or contemporary décor.

TAIWAN 2-11 August

Taiwan

The first stop on our launch of RyeLaw in the Far East was Taiwan. Ian and John hosted a number of interviews recorded for YouTube and social media, whilst also hosting seminars with members of the distribution team for Taiwan.

They also had the opportunity to visit a number of stockists and provide some one to one training with store clerks.

The week culminated in a fantastic industry dinner in Taipei.

Japan 18 - 22 September

Japan Our second stop in the Far East launch of RyeLaw continued in n Japan. It is a key market in this important whisky region and we are delighted to be working with Union Liquor to deliver RyeLaw. Ian and John hosted a series of seminars and visited several stockists in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.

Canada

The global rollout of RyeLaw continued in the autumn to Canada, visiting 4 key cities - Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

Meeting with SAQ and the LCBO, we visited local stockists during the day and hosted tasting events in the evenings at some of the cities most prominent whisky and spirits bars; The Burgundy Lion, One18 whisky influencer Mike Brisebois in Toronto.

The events were attended by members of the industry, press and influencers.

The last stop on our global launch brought us to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. MD Ian and Sales Director John hosted a tasting evening at The Writing Club, providing an opportunity for guests to gain a one to one insight into InchDairnie and RyeLaw. We also attended Whisky Journey, a whisky show run by a popular bar in the city, Quach Bar. RyeLaw was well received across the weekend event with many asking for their bottle to be signed by Ian! The trip concluded in Kuala Lumpur with two tasting events in upscale venues. Ian held intimate discussions with those who were intrigued by our rye spirit and also had the opportunity to share information on our Cask Club program.

WHISKY FESTIVALS

FIFE WHISKY FESTIVAL Fife Whisky Festival is always one of the most important dates in our calendar.

Hosted on the first weekend in March at the Cupar Corn Exchange, it is an independent festival which draws whisky enthusiasts from all over Europe.

WHISKY SHOW LONDON At the end of September, RyeLaw made its debut at Whisky Show London. Over three days, RyeLaw was presented to 1500 whisky enthusiasts and members of the trade. The brand was represented by members of the distillery team, from the stillhouse, warehouse and marketing. As well as Distillery Manager Scott.

WHISKY FESTIVAL HAGUE We attended the International Whisky Festival in The Hague, hosted in the stunning venue of Grote Kerk Den Haag. The three-day event was attended by whisky influencers from The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. It is one of the most popular whisky festivals in this region. We were supported by our distribution partner Disaronno on the stand.

INTER WHISKY We attended the Inter Whisky in Frankfurt with our distribution partner Kammer Kirsch. A three-day event with 3000 visitors across the weekend. We also hosted a masterclass tasting, sharing more in-depth knowledge on RyeLaw. All very positive from the attendees and those who would not normally try a rye whisky, were all very impressed.

We attended Spirits In The Sky whisky festival in Brussels. It was weekend event where we offered whisky enthusiast the opportunity to taste RyeLaw and two private masterclasses.

Following this, we hosted an evening at The Harbour Club in Rotterdam, introducing RyeLaw to key industry members and whisky influencers, including Hans & Becky Ofringa and Frank Paridon, who both attended our launch event in April.

Our latest experimental collection for the PrinLaws Collection, has recently been distilled. A Scottish ‘Pot Still’ whisky that is inspired by the great traditions of old pot still whisk(e)y-making in Ireland and Scotland, but with very deliberate twists that makes it firmly a product of Fife. As far as we are aware, it is the production of a ‘Pot Still’ style of whisky.

A three-night weekend at the beautiful Marques de Riscal hotel with key cycling talent Miguel Indurain, Oscar Freire & Dan Martin. Guests were treated to fine-dining feats from Nieves Barragan and Francis Paniego as well as the first exclusive RyeLaw tasting.

Loch Lomond Preview To drum up excitement for Loch Lomond, we got together with our customers Fortnum & Mason to host a preview, featuring not only a tasting, but also canapes from renowned Michelin starred chef, Nathan Outlaw, who created a Scottish inspired menu for the guests in September. Co-founder of LeBlanq, Justin Clarke, who organised the event gave the attendees an insight into what they could expect, all behind a backdrop of beautiful Bianchi bikes in the iconic Fortnum & Mason turquoise.

GRANTLEY HALL, YORKSHIRE

A one-day Joyride exploring the stunning Yorkshire Dales alongside cycling legend Ben Swift. Starting at the luxurious Grantley Hall, with refueling stops along the way, the guests then returned to Grantley Hall to indulge in a gastronomic dinner where RyeLaw was paired with a delicious chocolate delice, chocolate sable breton and a caramel vanilla cremeux.

SILO, LONDON The Chefs’ Ride brought together a world-class line-up of Michelin-star chefs (who all happen to ride bikes) to celebrate the Michelin Green Star Awards at the world’s most sustainable restaurant, Silo. With an epic ride into Epping Forest, followed by a 9-course masterclass in sustainable fine dining, with pairings from Marqués de Riscal wines and RyeLaw. MARKET LAUNCH 53

RAFFLES HOTEL An evening event, RyeLaw from InchDairnie Distillery was featured as the whisky moment at the end of the Tour de Vin. As the only whisky brand at the event, it was a rare opportunity to connect with our knowledgeable hedonist demographic at this luxury venue which is yet to open in London. A listing has now been achieved.

NORWAY A three-night weekend in the 62 nord luxury hotels filled with legendary joyriding with key cycling talent Nico Roche and Thor Hushovd, the founder of Rapha, Simon Mottram. Henrik Orre created a stunning menu for the guests.

LOCH LOMOND

A two-night weekend at the beautiful Cameron House hotel with cycling talent Sir Chris Hoy and Matt Stephens, as well as keeping great company with Bianchi bikes and Porsche cars. Guests were treated to fine-dining feats from Cornish chef, Nathan Outlaw who not only paired dishes with RyeLaw but also incorporated it within some dishes also. We were the lead partner at this event with press invitees, bespoke RyeLaw poses provided for all riders as a good luck charm, Old Fashioned cocktails, branded hipflasks, a cooper demo and much more!

IBIZA Three-nights, four days hosted at the beachside Hotel Riomar in Santa Eularia, Ibiza, with cycling legends Gerraint Thomas and Johan Museeuw.

Guests were treated to a fantastic menu from Michelin chef and owner of Sabor restaurant, Nieves Barragan, where RyeLaw was paired with the dessert.

Post dinner, guests were treated to a private DJ set from Pete Tong on Guests were also served RyeLaw Mule cocktails over the weekend as a refreshing drink, post ride through the rolling hills of the White Isle and pre dinner, featuring local ingredients.

LeBlanq’s last joyride weekend of the year was hosted at the stunning Cellars-Hohenort in Cape Town – Constantia Heights.

Cycling legends Daryl Impey and David Millar were there accompanying the guests on several rides along the stunning South Africa coastline.

Kobus van der Merwe owner of Wolfgat restaurant - winner of the weekend, with a Taste of Constantia Valley and the Tour de Feast, featuring locally sourced and foraged ingredients. RyeLaw was paired with the Tour de Feast dessert.

World's Best Restaurant 2019 - created a tantalising dishes over the

British former professional cyclist Matt Stephens, hosted a fantastic Tales of the Yellow Jersey, sponsored by InchDairnie, where guests were given an exciting insight into the cycling careers of Daryl and David.

As we were unable to attend the weekend, David Hesketh, Managing Director for Laurent Perrier UK, introduced InchDairnie and RyeLaw prior to The Tales and was available over the weekend to indulge guests who wanted to learn more about our first release.
