Nature-based activities can include dolphin and whale watching, guided bush-walking, bird-watching or astronomy.

Luxury in a stunning location

Dock Bay Lodge, Te Anau is a luxury lodge purpose built for the discerning traveller and is in a stunning location, set on 12 acres with magnificent views of Lake Te Anau and the National Park Mountains towards Milford Sound.

The five suites all have private balconies with unobstructed views over the golf course. Activities on site include a well equipped gym with sauna and spa pool. Relax with a massage or get active on a mountain bike and enjoy the fresh air.

In true southern hospitality there is a BBQ available for guest use or head off to a nearby restaurant set on a 100 acre deer farm where we can arrange a private cooking experience.

High Country Experience

Dome Hills Station is a 7,600 hectares high country sheep and cattle station in the Kakanui Mountains that lie between North and Central Otago. The Lodge offers guests a unique high country experience among magnificent scenery, fresh air and space, with the opportunity to explore the rivers and hills on foot, mountain bike or horseback, and be part of a working station.

The property is easily accessible by road, only 45 minutes drive from Oamaru and there is a helicopter pad for those wishing to arrive via air.

Mountain biking, hiking, secluded picnic and fishing spots, back hut excursions, horse riding and hunting are possible activities on the Station.
