Daily: Lunch 12noon - 2.30pm Dinner 6pm - 9.30pm The Cherwell Boathouse restaurant is a well known iconic Oxford eaterie situated on the banks of the river Cherwell in the heart of North Oxford. The restaurant is housed in an old Victorian Boathouse with dreamy riverside views. The alfresco terrace is a very pleasant place to have lunch in the sun or dinner under the stars. It is also covered and heated in case of less temperate climes. The restaurant serves fresh, seasonal, British food, creatively cooked, with a lot of local meat and fresh fish from Brixham Harbour. Talented young chef Nick Welford is at the helm . The restaurant has also won an award for "Fine Wine List of the Year" with IMBIBE magazine for two years in a row and is famous for its interesting and good value wine. Vegans, Vegetarians, gluten free and other dietary requirements are also well managed by the team.
