These students are encouraged to participate in individual laboratory meetings, data analysis sessions, journal clubs, and appropriate clinical research rounds at the affiliated teaching hospitals. In addition, the IMS offers a weekly lecture series to complement the students’ research. The lecture series includes research presentations by IMS faculty, graduate studies information sessions, and practical skills workshops.

he Institute of Medical Science Summer Student Program provides an opportunity for undergraduate BSc. and medical students to become involved in projects in biomedical research ranging across a broad spectrum of areas, from molecular biology and cognitive science to clinical investigation and bioethics.
