The 6th Annual Bicycles, 200 Main Street, Wethersfield. Spring is here along with National Bike Month. From May 1st to May 31st, on a beautiful spring day come visit the heart of Wethersfield’s historic and cultural district to see decorated bicycles in front of colonial homes, museums, and the local shops, restaurants, and businesses all on one walkable/bike-able street!

May 2: Hartford

Family Program: Take A Bow, Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, 1 Elizabeth Street, Hartford. In this program all about Connecticut theaters and shows, you will get to explore historic objects, see performances by local artists, and create many theater-inspired crafts, like puppets, playbills, and more! 11:00am to 2:00pm FREE

May 2: Waterbury

Kids Workshop: Blooming Hand Totes, Mattatuck Museum, 144 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT. Kids will turn a simple canvas tote bag into a blooming work of art! In this workshop, young artists will use paint and thier hands to create beautiful hand flower bouquets. By the end, each child will have a one-of-a-kind tote bag they can proudly use themselves or use as a perfect gift for Mothers Day! 19th Century Vintage Base Ball, Cove Park, 60 State Street, Wethersfield. May 16th, 11:00am. 19th Century Vintage Base Ball. What’s more American than Baseball? How about Base Ball the way it was meant to be played! Come see the Red Onions for a double header vs. the Woodstock Hilltoppers at Wethersfield Cove. Parking is available at DMV 60 State Street.
