The EV Motorist Green Book", which is a modern comparison to "The Negro Motorist Green Book" where we are introducing and creating a plan for EV infrastructure in EJ communities. Our goal during the grant period is to assess environmental justice communities along the SE coast from DC down to Florida and create a plan for EV infrastructure where families can charge their EVs along this drive while visiting HBCUs, historic sites, and black-owned restaurants and shops. We will need to identify the landmarks, distances, and feasibility of charging infrastructure. We would also need to assess the communities to educate and gain insight on electric vehicle adoption. We not only want to bring others to these communities but want the communities themselves to benefit from electrification as well.
