Dr. Sabine Charles is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and CEO of the TAPA Institute, which focuses on adult education methods to assist professionals pursuing accounting and audit-related certifications. With over 20 years of experience as an Executive Audit Director, Dr. Charles has successfully advised Fortune 500 companies in Internal Audit Controls, Business Risk, and Fraud Investigation. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, an MS in Accounting, and a BA in Accounting & Economics from CUNY - Queens College, along with numerous certifications such as CPA, CIA, and CFE. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Charles enjoys meditation, fitness, and traveling with her family. She serves on the Board of Directors of IMPACTability and JASA and is currently focused on expanding the TAPA Institute and writing articles on customized study plans for CPA exam success.

Meet Our Keynote Speaker
Edmund Asiedu is a proud person with disability and a passionate accessibility, disability inclusion, and inclusive mentoring advocate who raises awareness on the needs of persons with disabilities in educational institutions and workplaces. Born and raised in Ghana, he relocated to the United States in 2010. Before joining the New York City Department of Transportation as a Policy Analyst for Accessibility, he held positions at Columbia University School of Public Health, Berkeley College, Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation, Lehman College, National Disability Rights Network, and Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled. Edmund holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Lehman College and a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College of Public and International Affairs. He served on the Disability Access and Accommodations Committee at the Columbia University Medical Center. Edmund currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Advisory Council of the National Disability Mentoring Coalition (NDMC).

Donelle G. Brown, Citywide Inclusive Recruitment Specialist at the Department of Citywide Administrative Service's Office of Citywide Recruitment (OCR), brings over a decade of marketing expertise to drive meaningful change in workforce diversity and inclusion. With a deep understanding of what motivates audiences and moves them to action, she applies her marketing acumen in novel ways to the field of recruitment. Formerly a Senior Vice President at AdLarge Media, Donelle successfully orchestrated marketing campaigns and partnerships that consistently exceeded targets and propelled the company forward. Her background in project management, strategic communication, and psychology fuels her development of inclusive recruitment strategies rooted in both data and a profound commitment to equity. Donelle leverages her marketing skills to advise on diverse recruitment best practices and build initiatives promoting equity within City government. Through her work, she aims to breakdown barriers and create pathways for underrepresented groups to thrive in public service. She remains dedicated to championing diversity and inclusion initiatives for a more equitable fut inspiring others to join her in this critical mission.
Sarah Chow joined the FDIC in December 2023 as an HR Specialist in Staffing Operations. Prior to joining the FDIC, Sarah worked in the federal sector for eleven years, including five years in HR positions and three years in recruiting positions, focusing on federal hiring under competitive and excepted service appointments. In her current FDIC position as an HR Specialist, she provides nationwide management advisory services on recruitment and placement, personnel actions, and compensation related topics.
Janine Ting Jansen is an HR & Diversity Leader with over twenty years of experience working in Finance, Law, & Pharmaceuticals supporting business leaders. Her areas of expertise include Diversity, Talent, Recruitment, HR Strategy & Employee Engagement. She was recently featured as a contributing author for the book "Latinas Rising up In HR." As a passionate supporter of public education, she recently sought public office in the Fall of 2023 and was elected to the Board of Education in Mahwah, NJ for a three-year term (2024-2026).
As the first in her family to pursue a college education she advocates for educational attainment and career advancement of the under-represented. She frequently supports students and professionals through mentoring, coaching, and public speaking. Her educational accomplishments include a Master of Science in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from The New School, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Communications and Political Science from Emman College.
Sakeena Trice is a Senior Staff Attorney on the Disability Justice team at New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI). Before joining NYLPI, she worked in family defense as a staff attorney representing parents and families whose children were at risk of being placed in the foster care system. She has also engaged in tenant defense and criminal defense in private practice. Ms. Trice received her J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law and her B.A. from Morgan State University.
Christine Brykowytch is a vice president at BNY
Investments and the co-lead of the BNY’s Metro New York HEART Chapter. HEART is BNY’s Diverse Abilities
Employee Business Resource Group. With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Christine supports retail sales initiatives within North America Distribution. She focuses primarily on clients within the broker dealer and independent channels. She’s been with the firm for almost 14 years, starting in Asset Servicing supporting ETF clients and then moving into Investments. Outside of her professional life, Christine enjoys volunteering, cooking and traveling with her family.
Maureen Cuddy is a former special education teacher and Protection & Advocacy Coordinator for a fivecounty region in New York State. She is currently a content manager in publishing at S&P Global Ratings.
Maureen is a life-long advocate of people with disabilities and has held several leadership positions in the People Resource Group (PRG) Reach Global Board and other PRG global and local boards. The PRG Reach is dedicated to championing people with disabilities at work and in our communities. She helped launch several disability-related communities and 14 PRG chapters around the world; an internship program for students with disabilities; spearheaded and improved various digital and structural accessibility initiatives; and is a prolific volunteer, clocking in more than 200 hours each year. Maureen is also a 55 Water Street Green Team (advancing sustainability initiatives) and Corporate Responsibility leader. Maureen holds several degrees in education and a Juris Doctorate.
Prior to joining the FDIC in 2016, Monica Flint spent 15 years in various in private sector and federal human resources positions focused on increasing the hiring and retention of underrepresented groups. While at the FDIC, Monica served as the FDIC’s Disability Program Manager in the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion where she worked with both employees and management to process and track reasonable accommodation requests as well as coordinated with Divisions and Offices to implement key components of the FDIC’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategic Plan. In her current FDIC position as a Team Lead HR Specialist, she oversees nation-wide and college recruitment activity for entry level examiner positions as well as building a diverse pipeline for other FDIC vacancies.
Monica holds a Bachelor’s from Virginia Tech in Human Resources, a certificate in facilitation from Ivy Consulting Group, and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion professional certificate from Cornell University.
Letisha Gary is a vice president at BNY and the co-lead of the BNY’s Metro New York HEART Chapter. Letisha possesses over 20 years of corporate experience.
Letisha is formerly a Benefits Manager at NYU Langone Health. Prior experience also includes serving as a Benefits Analyst at BNY; driving Vendor and Records Management Compliance in partnership with Vendor Risk, Internal Control, Records Management, Third Party Governance and Audit Teams to identify, mitigate and monitor risks associated with third party vendors and departmental records in accordance with policy.
Letisha is a member of the Board of Trustees at The Calhoun School and serves on the Tricarico Council at New York Law School.
With 20+ years of experience in customer service, networking, and recruiting, Cheryl Morgan leads Glassdoor’s Trust & Safety Community Support Team. She ensures a safe, transparent space for millions of users while managing a talented team focused on keeping the platform secure and engaging. Cheryl is passionate about building strong teams, mentoring, and creating strategies that combine tech efficiency with a human touch.
