Zufall Zufall Health has been providing high-quality, affordable medical treatment to New Jersey’s working poor, uninsured, and underserved populations for more than 30 years. Zufall is committed to its mission of offering high quality, affordable healthcare in a culturally competent way to all in need, regardless of their ability to pay. In 2020, Zufall served almost 40,000 patients in 176,000 visits. Almost 80% of Zufall’s patients are at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, 53% are uninsured, 78% identify as Hispanic or Black, and 61% are best served in a language other than English. Approximately 25% of all Dover residents and 100% of uninsured Dover residents are patients at Zufall. Impact 100’s grant has had a significant positive impact on the Dover community by increasing access to food for residents. It is critical to intervene while patients are young to prevent obesity, diabetes, hypertension, dental disease, and other serious chronic conditions in this next generation. Zufall’s focus on prevention includes the Zufall Eats food truck that will take
