Uno standard versatile e di facile utilizzo oltre che di installazione con il quale è possibile creare scene dinamiche differenti o variare le tipologie di luce per mettere in scena gli oggetti in maniera più efficace. L’impiego di sensori di presenza e la possibilità di sfruttare la luce diurna migliorano notevolmente la qualità dell’illuminazione e ne riducono il consumo energetico. Casambi is an advanced control system based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology that allows, in addition to the intelligent management of your luminaires, the collection of data necessary for its optimum performance. Casambi creates and manages your lighting system in wireless mode. The application, compatible with all modern devices, such as smartphones, tablets and smartwatches, automatically acknowledges and associates devices that are installed in the environment without requiring dedicated control units or the intervention of specialised technicians. Its excellent stability and flexibility allows the user to create scenes and change them automatically. Per Coop Italia abbiamo curato l’intera illuminazione del supermercato del futuro, all’interno del Bicocca Village di Milano. Tutto il supermercato è illuminato solo con proiettori LED che assicurano una scenografia futuristica all’ambiente; i corpi illuminanti, verniciati nella stessa tonalità del soffitto, favoriscono la percezione della sola luce, rendendo l’ambiente incredibilmente più luminoso e ampio. Le parabole impiegate, concentranti sui banchi espositivi e EDGE nelle corsie, permettono di direzionare la luce in base alle esigenze del punto vendita e assicurano un’illuminazione impeccabile, pur riducendo il numero dei corpi illuminanti utilizzati. Un ulteriore valore aggiunto in questo store è rappresentato dalla tecnologia DALI, grazie alla quale è possibile realizzare scenari ed effetti predefiniti generando l’illuminazione desiderata a un costo ridotto. For Coop Italia, we designed all the lighting solutions for the supermarket of the future, at the Bicocca Village, Milan.The entire supermarket is lit using LED projectors, creating a futuristic environment. The fixtures, painted in the same shade as the ceiling, give the perception of only light, enhancing and enlarging the halls. A range of reflectors are used, which focus on the display counters and with EDGE reflectors enhancing the aisles, allowing the light beam to be accurately directed to the point of sale to ensure perfect lighting, whilst reducing the number of fixtures required. DALI technology endows this store with added value as it allows the creation of scenic and predefined effects with the desired lighting scenario at a low cost.

Per Auchan Retail Francia abbiamo creato un nuovo concept design per l’illuminazione dell’area freschi degli ipermercati. Il giusto accento sui freschi è stato posto scegliendo un’illuminazione spot e utilizzando, per ogni prodotto, la temperatura di colore ideale che ne valorizza le proprietà: un tono caldo per frutta, verdura, pane pasticceria, formaggi e vino; l’esclusivo LED MEAT FISH HD per esaltare toni rossi e comunicare la massima freschezza. La parabola Edge, a emissione rettangolare, usata sulla cantina e, in versione asimmetrica, lungo il perimetrale, assicura una distribuzione ottimale della luce rendendo possibile l’utilizzo di un minor numero di corpi illuminanti, riducendo anche i costi. Il tocco finale è rappresentato dalle sospensioni Sphera personalizzate nei colori istituzionali di Auchan, che accolgono i clienti all’ingresso e nei pressi dell’area ristorazione con eleganza e raffinatezza. For Auchan Retail France, we created a new concept design to highlight the fresh products area of its hypermarkets. Fresh products were illuminated by spotlights, using the ideal colour temperature, making the most of each product’s properties, for example, a warm tone for fruit, vegetables, bread, pastries, cheese and wine; the exclusive LED MEAT FISH HD to enhance red tones and communicate optimum freshness. The Edge reflector with its rectangular emission for the wine cellar and, the asymmetrical version installed along the perimeter, ensures excellent shape of light requiring less fixtures, and further reducing costs.The final touch is ensured by large Sphera suspensions, customised in Auchan’s corporate colours that welcome customers at the entrance and near catering areas with elegance and refinement.

Per illuminare il negozio di Scalo Milano la scelta è ricaduta su un unico prodotto, il KRIOS, proiettore dall’ingombro minino e dalla massima efficienza, in sintonia con lo stile dello store. Grazie all’ampia mobilità del faro e alle diverse ottiche disponibili - che permettono una gestione precisa del fascio luminoso - lo stesso prodotto è stato utilizzato per l’illuminazione di ambiente e prodotti. Nelle zone perimetrali, con fascio più stretto, per creare il giusto accento sugli stender perimetrali; nella zona centrale, con fascio più ampio per un’illuminazione generale e delle consolle centrali. La temperatura di colore scelta per la luce rende l’atmosfera del negozio accogliente; la resa cromatica eccellente (RA>93) permette di enfatizzare colori e tessuti delle collezioni. The interior design of Naf Naf stores reflects their decisive, yet informal style. To illuminate the store at Scalo Milano, they selected a single IMOON product: KRIOS, a small-sized, high efficiency spotlight that blends perfectly with the brand’s style. The projector’s range of adjustability together with different optics creating precise light beams - made this product ideal for both spotlighting products and general store lighting. In the perimeter areas, a narrower beam is used to create the right accent on the displays, whilst in the central areas, the beam is set larger to also provide general illumination. The chosen colour temperature creates a welcoming store atmosphere, and with its excellent chromatic performance (RA>93) emphasising the vibrancy of colours and fabrics of the collection.

Il proiettore è stato utilizzato in due versioni: spot nelle aree perimetrali e sulle isole, per una illuminazione di accento, e medium, nelle aree centrali per garantire un livello di illuminamento adeguato nelle aree di passaggio, e nella profumeria, per non creare accenti in contrasto con l’illuminazione degli espositori. In questo department store è stata inoltre installata una versione speciale del KRONOS P, con un indice di resa cromatica 90, per esaltare maggiormente il colore dei prodotti esposti. The renewed design and precise choice of brands characterise the formula of Coin’s point of sale at the “Carosello Shopping Arcade” in Milan. Targeted lighting and genuine colours are the traits of the lighting system entirely created with KRONOS P. The projector has been used in two versions,namely spotlights along perimeters and onto islands, for accent lighting, and medium power in central areas to ensure appropriate light levels along passages, and in the fragrance department, to avoid accents that could contrast with the display unit lighting. In addition, a special version of KRONOS P has been installed in this department with a colour rendering index of 90 to maximise the enhancement of the colours of the products on display.

Two product families were chosen for the restyling of the technical lighting in Fiorella Rubino-branded stores: KRONOS and ROC. Both boast SPARK technology, which was designed to optimise all colours and fabrics; the version chosen was Neutral, ideal for the colour rendering of all colours thanks to its very well balanced spectrum on both cool and warm tones. This technology was accompanied by the design of the new ROC projectors, developed at the same time as the new technical lighting plan for Fiorella Rubino stores. The luminaires fit perfectly in the new layout of the stores: they are light and airy thanks to the integrated driver and they also have a level of mobility designed to maximise multidirectional pointing to accurately highlight products on display. Finally, thanks to its barn doors, which optimise the distribution of the light, the BIG ROC gives the stores a theatrical feel, showcasing the products and improving the aesthetics. 95

Nella progettazione illuminotecnica dei punti vendita Decathlon la qualità dell’illuminazione si unisce a un’eccellente efficienza energetica. I negozi sono stati illuminati con il sistema lineare BASIC SYSTEM Led nelle versioni Open Distribution (a irraggiamento libero) per una massima omogeneità del flusso luminoso sull’area vendita e Flat, con schermo microprismato, sulla zona casse. Il lighting concept si è basato inoltre sul fornire il giusto livello di illuminazione in base al contributo della luce naturale presente nel negozio; grazie all’integrazione con il sistema DALI e ai sensori di controllo i livelli di illuminamento vengono mantenuti costanti e possono essere controllati in maniera automatica generando un notevole risparmio energetico ed economico. The lighting design of Decathlon points of sale combine quality and excellent energy efficiency. The stores were illuminated with the linear BASIC SYSTEM Led in the versions Open Distribution (free irradiation) for the utmost light flow uniformity in the sales area, and Flat, with micro prismatic screen, in the cash desk area. The lighting concept is also focused on providing the right level of lighting based on the amount of natural light present in the store. Lighting is maintained at a constant level through the inclusion of the DALI system and control sensors, and levels can be controlled automatically, saving a significant amount of energy and costs.

Silpo, una delle piu grandi catene di supermercati in Ucraina con 263 punti vendita appartenenti al gruppo Fozzy, ha aperto nel centro commerciale “Epicenter” di Kiev, uno store di oltre 4.000 mq che può considerarsi sia un supermercato sia una food court dove e possibile trovare una vasta scelta di prodotti alimentari oltre a sperimentare un’offerta gastronomica presso i bar e i ristoranti presenti nella location. In collaborazione con il cliente IMOON ha realizzato una soluzione illuminotecnica estremamente efficiente attribuendo alla luce un ruolo duplice: contribuire a generare un’atmosfera accogliente e valorizzare al contempo i prodotti. Per l’illuminazione dell’area vendita è stato utilizzato il BASIC SYSTEM; uniformità, efficienza e potenza i punti di forza del sistema lineare. Questa tecnologia ha consentito, grazie all’elevato potere riflettente del riflettore, una perdita minima nella distribuzione della luce; il risultato è un’applicazione ad alte prestazioni con costi operativi ridotti. Silpo,of the Fozzy Group, one of the largest supermarket chains in Ukraine with 263 stores has opened a store of over 4,000 square metres in the “Epicenter” shopping mall in Kiev. The store may be regarded both as a supermarket and as a food court offering a wide selection of food products, as well as enabling visitors to sample the food offering at the location’s bars and restaurants. For this venue, IMOON, in collaboration with the customer, has developed an extremely efficient lighting solution with a dual role: creating a welcoming environment, and at the same time enhancing the products.The sales area is lit by the BASIC SYSTEM; the linear system’s strengths include uniformity, efficiency and power. Due to the high quality of the reflector using this technology, results in minimal loss in light distribution; resulting in a high-performance application with reduced operating costs. 145

L’area, proveniente dalla riqualificazione di un’ex-area industriale del calzaturificio Borri ospita ora uno degli store piu innovativi e “green” della catena. La tradizione incontra l’innovazione, come la storicità del luogo incontra le tecnologie all’avanguardia dei sistemi di illuminazione utilizzati. Il MAXI, dal design high tech si inserisce perfettamente nell’ambiente e illumina le corsie, le zone di passaggio, l’area casse e il reparto casalinghi. L’effetto è una luce morbida, diffusa e uniforme. Un format unico dove la luce è protagonista, capace di coniugare la sostenibilità alla visione human-oriented. Technology, efficiency and lighting designed by IMOON and MAKRIS unite in the creation of the bespoke lighting solution for the new Coop supermarket in Viale Duca D’Aosta in Busto Arsizio (Varese). The new store comes from the refurbishment of the former industrial area of the Borri shoe factory and becomes one of the most innovative and “green” stores of the whole Coop chain. The tradition meets the innovation: the historic nature of the place and the leading technologies of the lighting systems, that respond to the needs of the spaces, are the heart of this project. MAXI, with its hi-tech design, fits perfectly into the space and illuminates aisles, transit, and storage areas and general household departments. The effect is a soft, diffused and uniformed light. The result: a unique format where light is the protagonist, able to combine sustainability with a human-oriented vision.

DENTIX “Una gestione della luce intelligente” “Intelligent light management”

Per la sede Dentix di Milano IMOON ha sviluppato una soluzione illuminotecnica che coniuga qualità della luce elevata ed efficienza energetica grazie all’impiego di un sistema di gestione della luce intelligente. L’architettura degli uffici, dotati di ampie vetrate che permettono di godere di un’elevata illuminazione naturale, viene sfruttata al meglio grazie all’impiego di sensori di luce che permettono di regolare l’illuminazione artificiale in funzione della quantità di luce naturale presente. Tutti gli apparecchi installati sono inoltre dimmerabili e provvisti di segnalatori di presenza per un’illuminazione dinamica e un ulteriore contributo alla riduzione del consumo energetico. Nelle aule di formazione e nei corridoi sono stati installati apparecchi da incasso (ALPHA 230 PRO e ALPHA 160), molto sobri, mentre nelle sale riunioni e sulle postazioni di lavoro sono stati posizionati i lineari ALPHA BEAT dotati di riflettori antiabbagliamento atti a garantire comfort visivo e condizioni di luce ideali sui computer. For the headquarters of Dentix in Milan, IMOON designed a solution that combines high quality lighting and energy efficiency by using an intelligent light management system. The architecture of offices featuring large full length windows designed to make the most of natural lighting is best exploited by the use of light sensors manufactured to regulate artificial lighting based on the quantity of natural light present. Moreover, all the devices installed are dimmable and fitted with presence detectors for dynamic lighting and an additional benefit of reducing energy consumption. Recessed fixtures (ALPHA 230 PRO and ALPHA 160) have been installed in training halls and corridors, while meeting halls and work stations use the linear ALPHA BEAT with anti-glare reflectors designed to ensure visual comfort and provide ideal lighting conditions for computer operaters. 203

BROFER “Luce di qualità per lavorare in sicurezza” “Improve safety with Quality Lighting”

Nel capannone di produzione della Brofer, azienda specializzata in componenti aeraulici, il vecchio impianto con lampade a ioduri metallici è stato sostituito con una soluzione illuminotecnica realizzata con le sospensioni industriali HB. La versione scelta è quella a tre riflettori, da 64°, ideali per garantire, con un’installazione a 7 metri di altezza, un’ottima uniformità luminosa impiegando un numero ridotto di corpi illuminanti (40 in oltre 4.000 m2) a favore di un minor consumo energetico. L’elevata qualità della luce è garantita dalle alte rese cromatiche delle sorgenti luminose e dai sistemi ottici con riflettori in alluminio preanodizzato che favoriscono un elevato confort visivo ottimizzando le condizioni di lavoro nelle singole postazioni. L’impianto dimmerabile DALI infine, dotato di sensore di luce diurna, permette di regolare in maniera automatica l’intensità luminosa dei corpi illuminanti, contribuendo ulteriormente ad una maggiore efficienza energetica. L’installazione dei nuovi prodotti HB ha permesso al cliente di ottenere un risparmio dell’80% rispetto al precedente impianto. Brofer, a company that specialises in aeraulic components, has replaced the old metal halide lamp system in its production facility with a technical lighting solution incorporating HB industrial LED suspensions. The version selected has three 64° reflectors that, installed at a height of 7 m, are ideal to ensure a uniformed distribution of light. They benefit from a reduced number of fixtures (only 40 for over 4,000 m2) providing extremely low energy consumption. High quality light is guaranteed by the excellent colour rendering and by optical systems based on preanodised high grade aluminium reflectors to ensure excellent visual comfort and improving work conditions in individual workstations. Finally, the dimmable DALI system with daylight sensor automatically adjusts the light intensity of the fixtures, improving further the energy efficiency. By installing new HB products, the client saves 80%, compared to the previous system.

Grazie al sensore di movimento interno programmabile, l’illuminazione si attiva al passaggio di un pedone o all’arrivo di un autoveicolo, garantendo il migliore comfort visivo, per il tempo necessario; trascorso questo periodo la luce torna all’intensità iniziale. Il consumo è adeguato alle reali necessità dell’ambiente: in assenza di passaggio la plafoniera ha un consumo di 16 W con un’emissione luminosa di 2400 lm mentre, in caso di presenza, si arriva ad una emissione luminosa di 8000 lm con un consumo di 53 W. GRANDEZZE ILLUMINOTECNICHE > FLUSSO LUMINOSO Quantità di luce emessa da una sorgente o da un corpo illuminante. Unità di misura: lumen (lm) L’efficienza luminosa è il rapporto tra flusso luminoso e potenza elettrica assorbita. Unità di misura: lumen/Watt (lm/W) > INTENSITÀ LUMINOSA Quantità di energia luminosa emessa in una direzione specifica. È influenzata da elementi che guidano la luce (ad esempio, i riflettori) e viene rappresentata graficamente attraverso la curva fotometrica (LVK). Unità di misura: candela (cd) > ILLUMINAMENTO Quantità della luce che investe una certa superficie. REQUISITI QUALITATIVI

COLORAZIONE > TEMPERATURA COLORE

La temperatura di colore quantifica la tonalità della luce. Unità di misura: kelvin. Tra i 2700K e i 3500K si parla di LUCE CALDA. Sopra i 4000K fino a circa 5000K si parla di LUCE NEUTRA. Oltre i 5000K si parla di LUCE FREDDA. > INDICE DI RESA CROMATICA L’indice di resa cromatica di una sorgente luminosa (Ra o CRI, Colour Rendering Index) misura quanto naturali appaiano i colori degli oggetti da essa illuminati. Può arrivare massimo a 100, ma 80 è già un buon risultato. Più è alto l’indice di resa cromatica, migliore sarà la resa cromatica nel confronto con la luce di riferimento. Per l’indice di resa cromatica generale ci sono 8 colori di test(da R1 a R8) cui si aggiungono altri 6 colori più saturi (da R9 a R14). La validità di una sorgente viene misurata mettendola a confronto con una sorgente «nota». Le caselle colorate danno un’idea dei modelli originali di riflessione.

LA VITA UTILE DEL LED La vita utile di una popolazione di LED si esprime come LxBy - la lunghezza del periodo durante il quale l’y% di una popolazione di apparecchi LED operativi dello stesso tipo non riescono a fornire almeno l’x% del flusso luminoso iniziale. Lx descrive il mantenimento del flusso luminoso: L80 significa che gli apparecchi di illuminazione di questo tipo specifico forniranno ancora l’80% della loro emissione di luce iniziale. By descrive la percentuale della popolazione per la quale vale ciò. Per esempio: L80B10=80.000 h significa che il 90% degli apparecchi, dopo 80.000 h avrà un decadimento del flusso luminoso di massimo 20%.

GRADI DI PROTEZIONE Il Codice IP, Marchio Internazionale Protezione, classifica e valuta il grado di protezione fornito da involucri meccanici e corpi illuminanti contro l’intrusione di particelle solide (quali parti del corpo e polvere) e l’accesso di liquidi. Norma di riferimento EN 60598-1:2015. Il codice IK indica il grado di resistenza meccanica dell’involucro e prevede la verifica dell’integrità dell’involucro a seguito dell’applicazione di urti. ABBAGLIAMENTO E CALCOLO UGR Per abbagliamento si intende la sensazione visiva causata da luminanze troppo elevate, distribuzione sfavorevole delle luminanze o contrasti eccessivi di luminanze nel campo visivo. Può essere diretto (molesto), provocato direttamente dalle sorgenti luminose o riflesso, provocato dalla riflessione della luce su superfici e oggetti. Il grado di abbagliamento molesto è identificato tramite il metodo del Rating (UGR), un fattore unificato in campo internazionale, sviluppato dalla CIE (Commission International de l’Eclairage) per la valutazione dell’abbagliamento diretto relativamente ad ogni specifica applicazione. L’ UGR va normalmente calcolato tenendo conto di: posizione dell’osservatore rispetto all’impianto, luminanza del singolo apparecchio, dimensione dell’installazione e dell’ambiente, sfondo in cui sono collocati i corpi luminosi. GESTIONE DELLA LUCE Le tecnologie per la regolazione dell’intensità luminosa degli apparecchi d’illuminazione dipendono dalle caratteristiche dei componenti elettronici utilizzati. Possono quindi essere richiesti segnali analogici o digitali, in quest’ultimo caso organizzati secondo un protocollo di comunicazione tra chi trasmette il comando (sistema di controllo) e chi lo riceve (apparecchi d’illuminazione). > CONTROLLO DIGITALE DALI DALI, acronimo di DIGITAL ADDRESSABLE LIGHITNG INTERFACE, è un protocollo standard internazionale, conforme alla norma EN 62386, per il controllo automatico dell’illuminazione. Tramite questo protocollo, la gestione dell’impianto di illuminazione diventa semplice e funzionale, dipendendo da una singola interfaccia con una comunicazione bidirezionale.

LIGHT COLOUR > COLOUR TEMPERATURE

The colour temperature quantifies the tone of light. Unit: kelvin2,700K-3,500K indicates WARM LIGHT. 4,000K-5,000K ca. indicates NEUTRAL LIGHT. >5,500K indicates COLD LIGHT. > COLOUR RENDERING INDEX The Colour Rendering Index (Ra or CRI) measures to what extent objects illuminated by a light source appear natural. It can reach max. 100, but 80 and above is a good result. A high Colour Rendering Index corresponds to a better colour yield, when compared to the reference light. The general Colour Rendering Index makes use of 8 test colours (from R1 to R8), with the addition of another 6 more saturated colours (from R9 to R14). The validity of a source is measured by comparing it with a «known» source. The coloured boxes convey an idea of original models of reflection.

The service life of a LED population is expressed as LxBy, the period of time during which the y% of a population of same type functioning LED light sources are unable to provide at least x% of the initial luminous flux. Lx describes the persistence of the luminous flux: L80 means that this specific type of light sources will still provide 80% of their initial light emission. By describes the percentage of the population to which this applies. For example, L80B10=80,000 h means that, after 80,000 h, 90% of light sources will present a max. 20% decrease in luminous flux.

DEGREES OF PROTECTION The IP Code, International Protection Marking, classifies and evaluates the degree of protection provided by mechanical cases and fixtures against the intrusion of solid particles (such as body parts and dust), and the access of liquids. GLARE AND UGR CALCULATION The term glare designates the visual sensation caused by very high luminance, unfavourable distribution of luminance or excessive contrasts of luminance in the visual field. It can be direct (bothersome), directly caused by light sources or reflected, caused by the reflection of light on surfaces and objects. The degree of bothersome glare is identified with the Rating method (UGR), a unified factor in the international field, developed by CIE (Commission International de l’Eclairage) to evaluate the direct glare associated with each specific application. The UGR is usually calculated by taking into account: the observer’s position with regard to the light source, the luminance of the single fixture, the size of the installation and of the environment, the backdrop in which the fixtures are installed. Digital Signals are organised according to a communication protocol between a control system, transmitting the command, and the lighting fixtures receiving it. > DALI DIGITAL CONTROL DALI, acronym for Digital Addressable Lighting Interface, is a recognised international protocol that complies with standard EN 62386 for the automatic control of lighting.
