at Immaculate was the best decision I could have made. After getting to know the school, I learned that it was the place for me and my freshman year lived up to that expectation one hundred percent.”

- Jordan K. ‘27, Southbury

Welcome Home Future Mustangs

As a premier college preparatory school in Fairfield County, we combine rigorous academics, spiritual formation and a commitment to service—preparing students not just for college, but for life.

For over 60 years, our graduates have surpassed expectations and discovered their unique potential. Every class, activity and relationship here is designed to ignite curiosity, build confidence and cultivate the skills that matter most.

This is more than high school—it’s a four-year foundation for a lifetime of success. Whether you’re a student ready to dream boldly or a parent looking for a community that will nurture your child’s growth, Immaculate is ready to walk with you every step of the way.

Your journey starts now—and we can’t wait to welcome you.

FAITH & SERVICE

“At Immaculate, our faith is not only welcomed, but encouraged. Prayer is an integral part of IHS, as we begin and conclude each day with school-wide prayer. Having an oncampus Chaplain allows students to attend Mass and receive the sacraments often. I have enjoyed experiences in Campus Ministry, a club that gives students volunteering opportunities, as well as the option to participate in school Masses as readers, altar servers and Eucharistic ministers.”

- Liam K. ‘28, Sandy Hook

This is a place where character grows and where you will be asked how you can make a difference. Our Catholic values are central to our mission and woven into everything we do. We welcome students from all faith backgrounds, as each, regardless of his or her individual beliefs, is grounded in an enthusiasm for learning and a desire to help others.

Service is one aspect of the Immaculate experience that you will come to value during your four years here. Through corporal and spiritual works of mercy, you’ll have the opportunity as an Immaculate student to address the needs of others, instilling values that will become critical to who you are and how you live. The realization that you have the ability to touch the lives of others fuels a purpose-driven life.

Through a four-year theology curriculum, retreat program, Campus Ministry activities, monthly school liturgies, optional morning Masses and lunchtime Adoration, you will have opportunities for spiritual growth as you uncover how to use your God-given talents to ignite change in our world.

FAMILY

“Immaculate showed me how a school can really be a home. I love how warm and welcoming everyone makes me feel every time I walk through the doors. I really appreciate the Catholic school environment, not only because of the faithfilled atmosphere but also the smaller community. These are just some of the reasons why I chose IHS to be my second home.”

…in a Vibrant Community

What is the first word that comes to mind when we ask our students and alumni what Immaculate means to them?

It is a resounding, FAMILY!

Choosing the best high school fit means surrounding yourself with peers who share your values, embrace differences and celebrate each other’s accomplishments. Immaculate is a diverse community of students who value kindness and respect. Whether it’s your softball teammates coming to watch you perform opening night in the spring musical, a peer tutor helping you work through a geometry problem, or a friend joining you in the Chapel to pray, you will find a sense of belonging and community that is hard to replicate.

Immaculate is known for its long tradition of school spirit and a passionate student body. The Stable, our student fan section, has ALWAYS been loud and proud for their fellow Mustangs. We are also known for a loyal alumni base, as our graduates embody the slogan,“Once a

Mustang…always a Mustang.” You may leave our building after four years, but Immaculate is forever with you.

OUR CAMPUS

“Immaculate’s facilities both elevate and enhance my experience as a student. Being able to use high-grade equipment in AP Chemistry this past year has given me a deeper understanding of the material but also allowed me to stay engaged and interested in what we were learning. Our brand new turf is a key factor in our team’s success as it allows us to have a readily-accessible space to practice and condition. It is truly rewarding to be a part of a community that is invested in providing students what they need to succeed.”

- Maya T. ‘26, Redding

Discover Spaces with Purpose…

At Immaculate High School, our campus isn’t just conveniently located near the NY border and right off I-84 and Route 7— it’s a transformative space intentionally designed to inspire growth. While we are nestled directly across from the natural beauty of Tarrywile Park, it’s what’s on campus that truly sets us apart.

Step into three state-of-the-art science labs designed for hands-on discovery. Unleash your creativity in a fully equipped graphic design and audio production studio. Train like a pro in our new Fitness Center and Indoor Golf Simulator. Study, collaborate or just recharge in our spacious, light-filled Learning Commons. And find reflection and inspiration in our beautifully renovated Chapel.

Athletes now compete and train on a completely upgraded, $1.3 million turf and track complex in Mustang Valley — a facility that rivals many small colleges and reflects our deep investment in student success at every level.

Our newly renovated Dining Hall and outdoor patio offer more than just a place to eat — they’re a daily social hub. At the Mustang Café, variety meets quality: gluten-free meals, Chick-fil-A, pizza, fresh salads, daily specials and hot breakfast options make it easy to fuel up for whatever your day holds.

We are excited to announce a brand new Business Lab for the 2025-2026 academic year.

SUPPORT

Realize Your Potential…

What makes for an exceptional high school experience?

It starts with a simple but powerful commitment: keep the focus on you—the student.

We believe high school should be more than just academics—it should be a place where you feel seen, heard and supported. You’ll learn how to speak up for yourself, ask for help when needed and take initiative in shaping your future. That kind of confidence starts with knowing you’re never alone.

With teachers available daily after school and a student-to-counselor ratio of just 95:1—far below the national average— you’ll always have someone to guide you, whether you’re navigating your courses or planning for college.

Support at Immaculate goes beyond the classroom. It’s in the senior Field Hockey

“Big Sister” who welcomes you on day one. It’s the peer who helps you study for an exam. It’s in the crowd cheering for you when the curtain rises. We lift each other up—because we believe your success is everyone’s success.

Because your full potential can only be realized when you’re well in mind, body and spirit, we provide access to a dedicated school nurse, a licensed social worker and a strength and conditioning coach.

You deserve to feel your best as you strive to be your best.

FRIENDS

“Immaculate has truly been a place of genuine friendship. Coming in as the only person from my middle school, I had no idea how quickly I’d find lifelong friends through sports, clubs and especially in the classroom. The hallways are always filled with smiling faces from every grade, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. High school always felt intimidating, but at Immaculate, the transition was made easy.”

- Bella X. ‘26, Wilton

…in the company of new friends.

What if, from the moment you stepped on campus, you felt like you truly belonged?

At Immaculate, that feeling starts right away. From our festive Accepted Student Night to a warm and welcoming Freshman Orientation, we celebrate you—not just for getting in, but for choosing to be part of something special.

Every freshman class brings together students from nearly 30 towns across Connecticut and New York, all arriving with the same mix of excitement and nerves. Whether you join our summer enrichment programs or attend preseason captains’ practices for fall sports, you’ll start forming friendships before the school year even begins.

Our Freshman Transition Program (FOALS) is here to make your first year

a great one. Through events such as Freshman Social, a Class Retreat, Join-A-Club Day and social mixers, you’ll quickly find your people and your place.

And just like that—you’ll be celebrating your first Homecoming Week, decked out in school colors and feeling part of something bigger. At Immaculate, the best seat is the one you’re too busy to sit in. We want you out there living it— whether you’re cheering at a pep rally, dancing at Snowball or taking the court for the student-faculty basketball game.

The friendships, laughter and experiences you’ll share will stay with you long after graduation. That’s why our alumni return year after year—for reunions, games and gatherings— because once you’re part of this community, you always belong.

FINE ARTS

“Immaculate has an outstanding fine arts program that provides students with countless opportunities. I have been a part of the spring musical, fall drama and Inspire Choir and due to our hard work, we have gotten to perform at Radio City Music Hall and Carnegie Hall. These experiences are things that I will never forget and will forever cherish.”

- Amalia T. ‘25, Bethel

Bring an audience to its feet…

Whether you dream of painting a mural, learning to play the piano, hosting your own podcast, or taking a bow to thunderous applause— we’re here to help you get there.

At Immaculate, creativity isn’t just encouraged—it’s celebrated. From visual arts to theater, music, media and more, we provide the tools, instruction and stage for you to express who you are and discover what you’re capable of.

Our artists grow their talents through a vibrant Visual Arts program, offering four levels of Graphic Design and courses ranging from Intro to Art to AP Studio 2D Art & Design. Student work is proudly showcased in on-campus exhibits and at local galleries and community events, letting the community see what Immaculate creativity looks like.

In the performing arts, our Theater Department is thriving. With over 100 Connecticut HALO nominations in the past eight years–including consecutive wins for Best Dancing in 2023 and 2024 and Best Classical Musical in 2025–our performances are know for their energy, excellence and heart. Whether you’re stepping on stage for the first time or preparing for a future in the performing arts, you’ll find the encouragement and experience you need to shine.

Just ask one of our cast members from Anything Goes—or anyone who was lucky enough to be in the audience. At Immaculate, the spotlight isn’t reserved for a few. It’s here for anyone ready to take the stage, share their gifts and be part of something unforgettable.

ATHLETICS

“Playing soccer at Immaculate has helped shape me as an athlete and person. My coaches push me to reach my goals, always encouraging me to become the best version of myself. Being part of a team here has allowed me to develop strong friendships, formed through rituals like our pregame team circle where we tell stories of our day, pray and get fired up for the game. As a freshman, the upperclassmen warmly welcomed me to the team and now I am excited to pay it forward as we welcome our newest Mustangs this year!”

- Payton H. ‘27, New Milford

…and elevate your game!

It’s pregame butterflies and postgame celebrations. It’s bonds formed with teammates and fierce competitions where you leave everything on the field. It’s pride in working just as hard in the classroom as you do in your sport. But mostly, it’s fun!

Get ready to lace up your soccer cleats, hit the batting cages and put in the miles. Whether you are a freshman trying a new sport for the first time or a seasoned athlete looking to play in college, you will love competing at Immaculate - home to 27 varsity sports, with some having Freshman and Junior Varsity programs as well.

Supporting character development through sports is at the heart of competition here, as many of our teams work together to make a difference in the community.

Immaculate is unique in important, fundamental ways which allow for an extraordinary education of the mind and heart.

Sense of Belonging

You enroll in more than a school – you join a community that our students will tell you feels like family. You perform at your best when you feel comfortable, welcomed and included in the life of the school. Get ready for the enthusiastic welcome you will receive on Day One which will set the tone for your four years at Immaculate. Our NEW freshman transition program is intended to provide support for our young Mustangs (hence “FOALS”). With the assistance of the Counseling Department, you will begin mapping out your four years, providing a blueprint for the path to success. The program is designed to establish a seamless transition between middle school and high school, leaving our freshmen well-prepared for the journey ahead of them.

Personalized Attention

Size matters. Big enough to challenge and small enough to care, Immaculate is small where it matters and big where it pays off. With approximately 400 students, there are an impressive number of activities, courses and programs to set you up for success at every turn, while the opportunity to actually participate in them is much greater than at a larger school. The average class size is 16 students –small, but not too small. You will receive personalized attention to help you exceed your goals, with the benefits of meeting and engaging with a wide group of peers with diverse backgrounds.

“In today’s world, investing in education is a big decision. For our family, Immaculate has been worth every penny.”
- Marc K., Current Parent

Character Development

Our Catholic identity and school mission to develop the whole student helps us prepare you for success in all areas of life, with the knowledge that strong, caring relationships are the way to get there. We are committed to developing moral and spiritual young people, leaving us after four years as leaders who act justly as forces for good in our world. Marked by compassion, self-discipline and personal responsibility you will be prepared to make informed decisions that will set you on a path for life filled with a sense of purpose and joy.

Extraordinary Outcomes

Immaculate is college prep at its best, with an academic experience that is both rigorous and relevant as it meets the demands and rapid changes of the 21st century. You will rise to the high standards of excellence that our world demands as you prepare to make your mark wherever your path leads. You won’t be asked to choose your path upon entering high school, but rather given the foundation that is needed to excel in whatever major and career you choose. The outcomes will provide tangible and intangible returns on investment. Innovation, technological advancements and enhancements to course offerings, programs and campus facilities are constant, while the positive, compassionate energy and moral foundation that will define who you are on graduation day have remained unchanged.
