“Everyone at Immaculate is welcoming, kind and understanding. When they say ‘everyone is part of our community,’ it isn’t an exaggeration. You’ll find friends in every grade, every class, and every hallway. Just be yourself and we’re all going to love you!” Kevin B. ‘24
FAMILY!
As a premiere, Catholic, co-ed, college preparatory school we put the needs of our students at the center of everything we do, including getting connected as new Mustangs! You will quickly meet new friends at New Student Orientation, Freshman Social, class retreats, pep rallies, club activities and more. Each year, students from many different zip codes and middle schools begin their journey at Immaculate and it doesn’t take long to feel right at home. Our students form bonds that last, from the first day of freshman year to their 50th reunion. The sense of faith and family is something you notice the moment you step through the doors of Immaculate at your Mustang for a Day shadow visit and it remains long after graduation.
“I love Immaculate because of the great learning environment which makes it so easy to thrive. The class sizes are perfect, allowing for a true learning experience, while also ensuring the ability to build relationships with teachers and classmates. The kindness, dedication, and perseverance of the faculty and staff towards helping all students do well in school, is why I truly love it here.” - Ben H. ‘25
Maintaining a high level of academic rigor and accountability is critical to laying a foundation for your future. Immaculate’s student-to-faculty ratio and class sizes allow for personalized attention from caring faculty. We are committed to offering an academic program that challenges you to reach your unique God-given potential.
Each course registration meeting with students and parents is collaborative, personal and individualized. Your academic portfolio begins in your freshman year with exposure to an excellent college readiness planning program, Naviance. You will be surrounded by teachers, counselors and peers who will challenge you to be your best.
Signature programs in Graphic Design, Engineering, Nursing and CISCO IT Essentials will all integrate state-of-the-art technology, labs and real-world experiences. You can earn college credit through dual-enrollment courses with UCONN, Quinnipiac, Fairfield and WCSU. Honor societies, academic-based clubs, and academic support services including a new Writing Center and Math Lab allow every student to thrive, as demonstrated by SAT scores which consistently outperform national and State of CT averages.
This highly competitive program invites academically gifted students who achieve a high score on the High School Placement Test an opportunity to participate. The program seeks to challenge students on their individual college preparatory journey, offering programs, experiences and guidance from a dedicated program advisor. Meetings take place throughout the year, ensuring that goals are set, school resources used and passions discovered early on in your high school
Central to our mission as a Catholic school is instilling values which become integral to who you are and how you live. You will be surrounded by students who contribute to the common good through lives marked by three words prominently displayed in our main lobby - Respect, Responsibility and Reverence.
We offer countless opportunities for spiritual growth including daily Adoration in our beautifully renovated Msgr. John Hossan Chapel, monthly Masses and class retreats, as well as starting and ending every day with prayer. You will develop as compassionate, innovative, moral leaders that are needed more than ever in our challenging world. Community service is part of our curriculum, and by the time you graduate you will discover the rewards that come from making a positive difference.
“I think the whole school feels the same way I do when we are all in “The Stable” cheering on our Mustangs. It’s a family feeling you won’t find anywhere else.” -Anna F. ‘22
After the 2pm bell rings, our student body remains active. There are friendships being made, passions discovered, skills developed and leaders formed. In addition to athletic and fine arts opportunities, we have over 30 different extracurricular clubs to choose from. Join a Club Day each September showcases all of the opportunities to get involved. Don’t see something you are interested in? You can start your own club!
Our spacious, comfortable Learning Commons is open every day after school to do homework or relax before heading to a club meeting, practice, extra-help or simply waiting for your ride.

Immaculate’s athletes - and those who cheer them on - are united by one simple thing: A PURE LOVE OF THE GAME! It’s pregame butterflies and postgame celebrations. It’s bonds you form with teammates and fierce competitions where you leave everything on the field. It’s pride in working just as hard in the classroom as you do in your sport.
Athletic excellence is a 60-year tradition at Immaculate as showcased by the banners that hang in our gymnasium, but it isn’t just about our winning tradition. Commitment and the pursuit of excellence is where the real reward is!
Our Strength and Conditioning Coach, weight room and new on-site fitness center all play a role in our commitment to the health and wellness of each and every student at Immaculate.
Whether you are a freshman trying a new sport for the first time or a seasoned athlete looking to play in college, you will love competing at the Home of the Mustangs!

FINE ARTS
“I joined the Inspire Choir because I love to sing and it easily became my favorite extracurricular activity due to the friends I made and the fun we had singing. I soon realized that I also loved bringing joy to people through song, such as during our trips to area nursing homes to perform!” Carly M. ‘24 to work on set design, lighting, sound and more.
