So what do we have today, you may be wondering? Well my dear friends, this hat has definitely found a comfortable place in my heart. I am absolutely and positively in love with this little creation to me. I call it Bubble Knit Beanie ... The "bubble" texture of this hat is amazing. Knitted with a super thick yarn, this little dream is like a squishiness bubble! The necessary materials: 7 mm circular needle Super Bulky Thread Point marker Needle of thread. Note: knit5b (knit 5 below): Slip the next stitch of the left needle and lay it in 4 rows. (There will be 4 strands of thread above the stitch.) Put the right needle in front of the free stitch and under the 4 free strands. Knit from this position, catch the loose strands behind the stitch. Give a quick call before knitting the next stitch to take the extra slack. If this point is confused there are a lot of tutorials on Youtube. Model: Fit 50 stitches. Start with a knit 1, 1 stitch. Continue in this pattern until 9 rows of ribs are finished. Round 10: Knit to the end of the row, increasing 3 evenly on the round. Round 11-14: Work until end of turn. Round 15: * Knit 3, knit5b. Repeat from * to last point, work 1. Round 16-20: Work until end of turn. Round 21: Knit 1, * knit5b, knit 3. Repeat from * at the end of the round Round 22-26: Knit until end of turn. Rounds 15-26 define your pattern, just repeat these rows until you have 4 rows of bubbles. Next turn: * Knit 3, knit5b. Repeat from * to last point, work 1. Next 2 laps: Knit to finish. Round 1 to decrease: work 2 together all the way to the end. Knit the last point. Round 2 of descending: Repeat the last turn.

Round 3 to decrease: knit 2 together all around. Cut your thread leaving a long tail. Thread the end of your thread through a needle of thread and weave through the remaining dots. Secure with a dot or two inside your hat. Add a pompom of your choice if you wish. Source: https://imknitting.com/patterns/the-easiest-way-to-knit-a-beanie-hat345.html
