PROGRAM METHODOLOGY IMG Academy’s soccer program’s impressive collective tournament/ league titles and number of elite collegiate student-athletes and national team players remains unparalleled globally.

Throughout the program, IMG soccer coaches leverage their professional and collegiate experience and ensure that each player has the necessary tools to achieve their goals.

IMG Academy’s soccer program has defined age-specific workloads and training programs to ensure a clear pathway that maximizes each individual’s potential.

The program’s 6-week cycles are inclusive of measurable goals, competition, and review and analysis to prepare for upcoming checkpoints and tournament play. IMG’s overall team atmosphere within the soccer program also places a significant emphasis on individual development and growth, which has led to the success of alumni both in college and on national and professional teams.

BOARDING SCHOOL 6TH - 12TH GRADE AND POST-GRADUATE OPTIONS AVAILABLE IMG Academy is the world’s premier boarding school for dedicated and passionate student-athletes. As a boarding school with a club-like format, IMG’s soccer program’s structure optimizes the process by combining expert coaching and individualized development opportunities with an annual competition schedule.

Teams range from U13 through U19 as well as post-graduate opportunities at the U18/U19 league level. IMG participates in several key leagues at the state, regional, and national levels.

Soccer training includes position-specific instruction as well as team strategies and foundational tactics, speed of play, and proactive thinking on the field.

Skills such as strength and conditioning, communication skills, and leadership are also emphasized throughout the year to ensure maximized college recruitment opportunities.

Student-athletes prioritize both academics and athletics as their schedule mirrors that of a collegiate program. IMG soccer is a direct pipeline to some of the nation’s top universities as student-athletes have access to invaluable resources that ensure they’re confident and prepared for the next level.

The program has defined an annual development process inclusive of the following phases: • Pre-season (August - September): Measure & Evaluate • Physical testing, tactical, technical, and functional introductions • Competitive Cycle (September - April): Prepare & Play • Competition and tactical phase, college showcase competition, performance statistics collection and analysis • Post-season (April - June): Review & Prepare • Review individual development plans from pre-season, physical testing, season review, post-season preparation

SOCCER CAMPS AVAILABLE YEAR-ROUND FOR ATHLETES AGES 9-18 IMG Academy soccer camps are designed to challenge every player, regardless of their skill level or position. Group training sessions and competitive scrimmages allow campers to learn from expert coaches who have experience preparing players for the collegiate and professional levels.

Soccer camps also feature dedicated goalkeeper sessions, including technical training as well as tactical play situations. All soccer campers will receive a post-camp analysis report inclusive of coach feedback to ensure players have access to unrivaled instruction both during and after the program.

IMG Academy soccer camps were developed to focus on the most crucial aspects of the game: • IMG Camp: IMG’s revolutionary training methodology (sport & core performance training) • Total Athlete: IMG Camp + 1 daily specialization session (Ex. strength & power or mental toughness & vision)
