TRAILBUILDING FUND POWERS SINGLETRACK ACROSS THE U.S.A. ajor funding from Trek and Trek dealers has helped power the IMBA Trailbuilding Fund and promote trail development across the nation. Trek donates $10 per mountain bike sale (over $1,000 retail) to IMBA’s trail initiatives. Over the course of our three-year partnership, Trek has made a $600,000 commitment to create singletrack trails, bike parks and other mountain bike facilities. IMBA works hard to make sure Trek’s investment gets multiplied with additional funding and partnerships. Building just one mile of singletrack can cost $10,000 to $40,000, so IMBA creates funding campaigns for each new trail systems to involve federal, regional and local funding sources. Visit IMBA’s interactive map at imba.com/ trailbuildingfund to locate projects from coast to coast. Trek dealers looking to work more closely with IMBA can link to this map and share it with your customers. Do you know of an opportunity for new trails near your Trek store? Contact IMBA by sending a message to info@imba.com. TREK TRAILBUILDING FUND PROJECTS
