If you are tucking the pups into bed & locking up in the evening, please plan to depart by 8 PM.

THE PUPS NEED YOU AT THE RANCH! The following are the empty time slots for this week.

TUESDAY : 7:30 - 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK-UP)

WEDNESDAY : 10 AM - NOON (MENTOR NEEDED!), 7:30 - 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK-UP)

THURSDAY : 10 AM - NOON, 6 - 8 PM, 7:30 - 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK-UP)

FRIDAY : 8 - 10 AM, 2 - 4 PM

SATURDAY : 10 AM - NOON, 2 - 4 PM, 4 - 6 PM (FEEDING TIME), 6 - 8 PM, 7:30 - 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK-UP)

SUNDAY : 10 AM - NOON, NOON - 2 PM, 4 - 6 PM (FEEDING TIME), 7:30 - 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK-UP)

*** Feeding Times and Bedtime/Lock-Up are the most critical to fill. *** Please take a look at the available Feeding Times and Bedtimes to see if you are available to care for the pups.

*** Would you like to volunteer at The Ranch? ***

Here is the link to get started. https://imaginefureverranch.org/form-pages/volunteer/ After you’ve completed the online portion of Orientation, you must sign up to volunteer with a Mentor Volunteer to complete the handson portion of your Orientation. You will know that a person is a Mentor Volunteer as this will be noted under their name on the sign up. They will show you around and get you acquainted with The Ranch. We ask that all new Volunteers sign up with a Mentor for the first Daily Chores time slot, first Feeding Time and first Bedtime/Lock-Up time slot. All Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian when at The Ranch. The minimum age to volunteer at The Ranch is 6 years old. We suggest that all Volunteers be at least 10 years of age to participate in a Feeding Time.

“We started visiting the ranch on Saturdays in April 2022. Alex, our oldest son, really took to it and kept asking to go more often. This was great to see as he struggles with life sometimes. When he was around the dogs you could just see his real smile and how happy he was. Alex and I started to volunteer in early June and he loved it. We got to know the dogs more and more and as a family decided we would like to try fostering. We did the application and brought our dog Dez up to meet Sal and Roxie. Roxie was a better fit so she came over the next day and didn't leave until she was adopted. The day after adoption, Sal came over and has been with us since. Its amazing to watch them learn how to live in a house again and with Sal, how to be a dog. He follows our Dez everywhere and tries to act the way he does. They have brought so much joy to our house (especially to Alex).

The boys understand that when we foster it not only helps save that dog, it opens up a spot for another dog to be saved. We talk to them about what could happen if one gets adopted, even though its sad to see them leave. They immediately ask which dog can come over next. We love the ranch and the support they give to us and hope to continue this relationship in the future.”

***MEDICAL / TEMPORARY FOSTER***

Sal will need a safe, quiet space to land for a short time. January 20 30 are the dates. Although, Sal has been on heartworm preventative since arriving into The Ranch’s care last December, it was found at his yearly exam that he has heartworms. He has started on the antibiotic and will receive his first injection in approximately 30 days. He will need to have a calm, quiet home with no other pets to rest and heal during this short time.

FOSTER FAMILES SAVE LIVES !!!

Have you ever considered fostering one of the Ranch Pups?

We are looking to form a group of Respite Fosters. This will be Foster Homes who would be willing to take a pup for a short period of time. There are times when our Foster Families go on vacation or have guests in their home, and need a place for their Foster Pup to spend a week, a weekend, a finite amount of time.

Would you be interested in such a duty? The Pups and their Foster Families would be so grateful!

RANCH REMINDERS

:

A NEW poop receptacle has been placed at the back door of The Lodge. Please dispose of ALL poop in this can. Poop from walks in bags, scooped poop from the yards. This can must always have a trash bag in it.

Dump all dirty water outside (dog water bowls, mop bucket water) Please clean mop buckets outside, do not clean them in the in dog tub.

All individuals MUST be 16 years of age or older to administer any medications to the pups.

When you arrive to volunteer please make sure ALL pups go out to potty first. This is particularly important for the 8 AM time slot. ALL pups MUST be let out / taken out to potty BEFORE any meds or food are given.

For Our People | We support God’s work by “ministry through action.” We provide a loving, safe gathering place to volunteer and care for our dogs, as well as to relax, attend self-help events, pray, play games, enjoy outdoor play areas, attend yoga classes, enjoy live music & food & wine events, and of course to love on our DOGGOS! Once a waiver is signed, all people are welcome t use the ranch during our operating hours at no cost .
