If you have signed up to serve the pups breakfast, please plan to arrive at 8 AM.
you are tucking the pups into bed and locking up in the evening, please plan to depart by 8 PM.

TUESDAY : NOON 2 PM, 2 4 PM
WEDNESDAY : 10 AM - NOON
THURSDAY : 10 AM NOON, 2 4 PM, 6 8 PM, 7:30 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK UP)
FRIDAY : 10 AM NOON, NOON 2 PM, 2 4 PM, 7:30 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK UP)
SATURDAY : 10 AM NOON, 2 4 PM, 6 8 PM
SUNDAY : 10 AM NOON, NOON 2 PM, 2 4 PM
*** Feeding Times and Bedtime/Lock-Up are the most critical to fill. *** Please take a look at the available Feeding Times and Bedtimes to see if you are available to care for the pups.

After you’ve completed the online portion of Orientation, you must sign up to volunteer with a Mentor Volunteer to complete the hands on portion of your Orientation. You will know that a person is a Mentor Volunteer as this will be noted under their name on the sign up. They will show you around and get you acquainted with The Ranch. We ask that all new Volunteers sign up with a Mentor for the first Daily Chores time slot, first Feeding Time and first Bedtime/Lock Up time slot. All Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian when at The Ranch. THE PUPS & THE PEOPLE AT THE RANCH NEED YOU!
The Ranch is looking for a Foster Coordinator!
This position is part of the Leadership Team and will meet with the Team every other Wednesday at 6 PM.
This person will continue to build our Community of Foster Families and keep in communication with the current Foster Families.
This is a crucial role for our pups. Our Foster Families enrich the lives of the pups and open up a spot at The Ranch to save another life.

The Ranch is also looking to build an Intake Team!
These folks will work closely with our Surrender Coordinator to make a seamless transition of the new pups into The Ranch...making sure all paperwork is in order, posting the pups’ kennel cards and adding their details to the white boards.
This team will also facilitate dog introductions, and spend time with the pups after the introductions to make sure all is well with them, their new friends and surroundings.

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT - WHAT IS YOUR ‘WHY’ FOR THE RANCH ?
Cindy Bloyer is an AWESOME Volunteer who has jumped in to serve The Ranch in any way that she can
“Why do I volunteer for the Ranch? I've got two reasons.
1. I've had dogs all my life, from farm dogs to house dogs. The majority lived to become senior. The farm dogs, though, always went away to die on their own. I always thought that was very sad. No dog should have to be alone at the end of life. They should know that they have been loved to the end.
2. Senior dogs are survivors. They've lived a whole life though good or bad. They've carried on through illness and injury, through protecting kids from childhood until they headed off to college. They've done their job and have earned a retirement that is comfortable and loving.
I want to be part of helping senior dogs find their final furever home. Imagine FURever Ranch is the place that makes that happen.”

RANCH REMINDERS :
When you arrive to volunteer please make sure ALL pups go out to potty first. This is particularly important for the 8 AM time slot. ALL pups MUST be let out / taken out to potty BEFORE any meds or food are given.
Please put poop that has been scooped in the burn pile in the back of the property, behind The Lodge. Please put poop that has been collected in plastic poop bags in the large trash bin west of The Lounge (make sure the poop bag is tied). You are appreciated!!!
